After a brutal 2 1/2 hour journey into Sapphire Queen gate and a rough 6th Strata (all fire), I finally emerged victorious through 29 clockwork levels without a single death to my name. Dauntless Delver achievement is mine.
Now the only achievement I'm lacking is the 10,000 minerals one. Oh well.
Congrats. I'm also lacking the 10000 minerals one. The most annoying thing is not knowing how many more I need to get there.
I hope I get something at that point, at least a popup saying congratulations :P
Now what I need to do is figure out how to use all these artifacts I have. I've got the 4 recon modules and two collectors artifacts from the Starter/Battle packs, and I don't know what you're supposed to do with them.
As of now, they do... Nothing.
If we only had a counter of how many minerals we had...

I managed this myself during the last powersurge weekend. ...I had to run the gate (Coral Titan, I think?) three times. Once for the "Haven and All" achievement (which, to the best of my knowledge cannot currently be earned at the same time as Dauntless delver, due to a bug). I died to the Snarbolax, of all things. -_-.
The second, I got to floor 28 before my apartment lost internet for several hours. I *should* have gone wi-fi hunting with my laptop, but instead, six hours later, I did the gate a *THIRD* time, finally achieving it.
And BigFootM - there *is* a such a counter. How else could they tell ya when you earn the achievement? Now, if we had a *viewable* counter of how many minerals... ;)

I am trying to use my artifacts to capture snipes for snipe pot pie, but it hasn't worked yet. Still starving here.

I'd rather we just keep artifacts as they are- worthless trophies. The only exception would have to be the core, and boss artifacts, where you might be able to do something with them to open the core or something.
When I first checked what archievements are available, I looked in awe to those Survivor ones. And soon after, I got Bronze Survivor by mistake ( X-D )
Silver Survivor wasn't that difficult then, once I learned how to act in T2, and I almost got the Gold Survivor in my first full T3 run! (died at a d27 arena)

I got dauntless delver sort of by accident. A guildy wanted the achievement so I came along to assist and take some damage for him. At the end of T2 I realized I hadn't died yet so I actually played it safe and got through T3 with little damage taken.
In that run I managed to get bronze survivor, silver survivor, gold survivor, cradle and all and dauntless delver. Actually getting through 0-29 with no deaths was pritty awesome considering i never actually picked up any of the survivor metals before that run. I made roughly 11k off that run after minerals and mats.
