Now that trinkets actually work now since last update which should i choose to do FSC runs in Skolver gear?
2 4* fire trinkets or 1 5* fire trinket?
2 4* fire resist trinkets or 1 5* fire resist trinket?

With the exception of the krogmo trinkets, your best bet is going straight for the 5*, since they're not upgradable and will cost a pile to unbind the 4*s later if you want to sell them off and get a pair of 5*. The only exception is if you want to get a trinket for T2 PVP, in which case the 3* are obviously the ones to get.
A single 5* trinket is better because trinkets cost 150 energy per month to equip, so you save 50-150 CE every month by having only a single trinket. Also, it frees up a slot to equip another trinket with a different bonus.
