I'm unable to connect since the bugfix patch from steam, some authentication issue, am I the only one ?

I tried connecting about 3 times hitting log on. I restarted the game after waiting a few minutes, and still same issue. I was about to try again until i saw these posts.

I paid 50 dollars for the orange box back in 07, but that account got hacked, (I knew I should have kept that box and reg. key), and I now dont have that old account of mine.

I say this because I played some Lockdown post patch. After the 3rd game, steam disconnected me, and hasn't let me get back on, since.

Scheduled steam downtime, not an issue with SK. Wait it out. When the steam servers go down, we can't log in, because steam players are authenticated via the steam login servers.
