problem authenticating with steam

Was in game, clicked leave party and crashed to login. Now cant get past "experienced a problem authenticating with steam". What the hell?

Logging in problem

I tried logging in and I get that same message. But I didn't crash. I just tried logging in and it didn't work.

Steam communication servers

Steam communication servers went down for a while. If steam's servers crash or go down for an update, steam players cannot connect to SK (And apparently the game needs to check every time you go to a new area - I'd prefer it if the game only checked steam at login)

Oh, and it should be up now. Or it was last time I looked.
