Dunno where exactly to put this...
After the recent update, i went to start SK as normal, and now i get the message "We are experiencing a problem authenticating with Steam. Please ensure that the Steam client is running, and that you are not logged in elsewhere."
Tried a reboot, reinstall of both steam and SK. Same thing happened... suggestions?
Cannot authenticate...

My guess is the new patch
My guess is the new patch buggered something, as I was in game when it rebooted, applied the patch now no SK. Seems to be an issue for Steam players only.
I have no idea, I was actually playing the game and it kicked me off to say the same thing.
