Part of the reason that you may not be getting any bites is that the Crest of Almire can be obtained for about 3k CE. While this is a great UV for a Skelly Shield, the Crest gives double the amount of fire resistance as well as shock protection while the skelly shield provides poison and freezing, which are less of a hinderance.

You may want to consider putting it up on the AH, as it tends to be easier to sell items there that would otherwise not be so easy. (Example being a Crest that guyjin was selling for 10k ce... no bites on the forum, but easily sold for a million cr on the AH)

Not trying to derail your sale, just trying to help explain maybe why it's not moving.

If I'm feeling confident, I put the bid at 1, no buyout, and 2 days --- this gives you a listing fee of 50. For a no UV blackened crest (resists don't come until 5*), buyout lands somewhere between 150-200k. It's risky, but that's the nature of the AH. If you feel like you can get more, hang onto it and keep shouting in trade.

if you just want fire protection the crest will do the job better, the better uvs for skelly are any but poison, freeze, fire and shock. A fire uv is only better than crest of almire on a fiend/undead stratum that will have poison, freeze and fire levels and possibly no shock, although trojans always have shock attacks. Plain greavers and zombies and trojans come with stun so stun is a good status to have although in the case of greavers they skip your shield, unless patched recently :P Skelly should be good at the blight city levels since everything has poison there and most things do shadow damage, that makes piercing a good uv to have too I guess.

I suppose your starting bid could be 3k ce to match its competition (your 4kce is fine in that regard if you are targetting a collector), if you want to sell put it below 3kce so that someone bites, I dont think you can get 20k ce for it even on the ah though. Also if you dont put a decent buy now value, or dont put one at all chances are they will buy it, but below your expectations (ie. just your starting bid). A normal max grey owlite with no buy now sold for less than 5k ce recently, probably because it had no buy now value at all, a plain grey owlite can be sold for higher than that :P

Take into consideration to advertise your item and place it during days (and final hour) where most people should login to the game and also hopefully have the funds to buy your shield (ie during a promotion) especially if you want to sell it that expensive.

You do realize shield's resistance only applies to shield, don't you? Having a shield with fire resistance doesn't add to YOUR fire resistance, it is only considered to calculate remaining life of the shield when something attacks you while you're shielding.

Basically, its as good as having a bomb with increased attack speed :D

What I'm saying is this: the shield is as good as one without UV, thats why nobody wants to buy it. Offer some 0.5k CE and someone will definitely buy it thinking they got a treasure :D
