Hello everyone! Due to boredom, I have decided to create a weekly Fanfic to explain the origin of the Spiral Order. Segments will be released every weekish or so. Right now I am looking for characters to be put in the story. Please put your name, personality, social class (see below), and any other information you would like me to know. There will be a HUGE contest at the end of the story (you'll love the prize ;P). So stay tuned for the finale!

Social classes: Royalty OR Peasant (more coming soon)

Without further ado, Chapter 1, PREVIEW (there will be much more within the coming days)

CIRCA 1005 A.R. The land is falling apart. Every moment, a piece of our glorious world falls into the void of the unknown. The king is dead, and chaos runs rampant though the towns. There is no hope of survival unless we can get off of our planet. All of this started with one word. REVOLUTION.......

Id just like to say that I'm very sorry for the delays, but here it is, Chapter 1, Part 1. This chapter will be mostly about the background of the story. (next week will be much more exciting+ actual characters :P)

CIRCA 2751 U.R. Throughout the land, an unrest is emerging. Under the rule of the Rose Monarchy, Ryhim XI, The Kingdom of The Spiral is slowly falling apart. The surrounding villages and towns are becoming displeased with the amount of death that is coming from his rule. The one thing that keeps each and every spirian alive is a a single substance called energy. Energy is required to do work, and CE can be purchased to produce more work. Every spirian is required to do a certain quota of work for
the king by the end of the year. The quota requires much more energy than a spirian can produce in a year. This is why CE is very important for the spirians. It allows for more production of work. The price of CE far out weighs the the amount of spirals a peasant can make. CE has reached 15k during the rule of Ryhim XI, five times the price before his rule. Because of the price, spirains cannot afford to purchase CE. This causes many to die of energy exhaustion. Many spirians have pleaded with the royalty for lower prices, only to be met with swift death. The Owlite Scholars (more about them later) have agreed with the royalty, only because they gain wealth from the royalty in the form of offerings. Because of all of the resistance the peasants are facing, they have one option left in their mind. REVOLUTION

Been quite busy the last couple of days, (much longer segments coming soon) but here it is, chapter 1, part 2. (mini contest below)

CIRCA:2751 U.R.

Within each of the seven sectors of the spiral empire, an idea of revolution starts to emerge. This spirit of thinking was spearheaded by by a spirian named Lyhkos. Throughout his life, he had grown to resent the royalty for the terrible treatment of the people. He realized that each person should be able to chose their own destiny. His destiny was to create a war. In his village of Crytax, he had rallied the people to go to arms and take over one of the CE storage facilities nearby. In this attack, fifteen royal
guards had been brutally dismantled and scraped for their energy. The resulting shockwave of this event inspired many spirians across the empire to have hope once more. The royalty on the other hand were disgusted with this act of resistance. They sent a Battalion of The Red Rose to a nearby town to raze it. As soon as the fire was lit, it sparked the revolution. Each person had to make a choice on where their loyalties lied.......

MINI CONTEST: The revolution has begun! Every man who opposes our tyrant, take arms! I am currently looking for guild names for mini factions in the story. Please put your guild name, ign, Faction, your guild's main purpose in the story, and anything else you would like me to know. Seven will be picked, and the best submission will earn the GEARED FO THE REVOLUTION PACKAGE: 250 CE, and an assortment of 1* items (for all of you peasants :P). Contest runs till 10/10. Stay tuned for the mega contest at the end of the story!

Extra info: Likes it up high, quiet and dark. A bit of a loner, but doesn't mind company if it finds him.

Uses weapons flexibly (Anything fast and with moderate power: Calibur and Antigua preferably) .

Usually wears light and likes to run and jump around the place, priding himself on his agility and reflexes, rather than pure speed. Improvises with many things, including drawing strength without muscle (leverage, speed, momentum, weight etcetc...)

Likes recognition, but dislikes excess attention.

EDIT: wait? there's a prize? lmao, never noticed. Not like it really matters to me though :P
I'm a bit of a Combat nut, so battle style details are there if needed. :D

Sorry, but I would prefer not to be a royal >.>

At any rate, here is what I would put up...

Knight Name: Dias/Ailment (Dias is his actual name, but has recently been referring to himself as Ailment)
Gender: Male
Personality: Somewhat hard to describe. He believes in good, but he often times would do nothing even if a crisis was happening. He is quiet, and prefers not to talk. Often times he can be found in an obscure place simply standing/sitting there, deep into thought or meditation. He is not stupid however, and often times if one challenges his intelligence will end up looking stupid. He almost never smiles, but seems to be in an almost constant frown. He is not without emotions however...
Class: Not quite a peasant, but nowhere near royalty (consider him a mercenary that has money at all times, but doesn't use it for trivial things).

Extra info: Very skilled with swords, but has some experience with using guns as well. His battle style is a somewhat complex one, and depends on the situation. If its 1 on 1, he devotes his entire attention onto the enemy, focusing on parrying/dodging oncoming attacks, and as he does so he looks for a pattern. Should he find a flaw in the pattern, he will exploit it. Against several enemies, he divides his attention, and tries to use the enemies against each other. Otherwise he treats it much like 1 on 1. He prefers the Calibur/Brandish line, but can handle all swords well. He has his own personal sword as well (can provide a link if you are interested...).

Has gone mad with power once, but has learned from it. The only remnants of such madness are apparent by the large gash over his right eye, and his current garb (a rather worn out Vog Cub styled set). However, even though he has recovered, one should never get him angry, for if one pushes him too far, he might get very...violent...

Doesn't wear too much armor (prefers the Wolver series to be exact), and almost never uses a shield.

Even though he is allied with a group of people, he prefers to take things into his own hands, and goes into the Clockworks alone almost all the time (says that he prefers the environment there rather than the one in Haven, specifically he claims that Haven is "too noisy").

Does not like to be recognized for his deeds, thus he often gets the job done quietly.

Also, he likes to think that no one watches him, but secretly people watch him due to how closed in he is. Although it is mainly from the fact that the black colors of his clothing make him stand out in Haven...

Finally, has a secret rival that he barely mentions about. This "rival" is the main reason he goes into the Clockworks, to find him and possibly end him. This rival is also the reason Dias/Ailment went mad with power, and was his rival even before the Skylark crashed.

Armed with a daunting array of ranged weaponry, he carries a gun for every sticky situation. The ultimate gunslinger, he roams the clockworks night and day in search of greater challenges. Though he rarely encounters other Knights on his quests, in Haven he's happy to relax and trade his wares amongst fellow knights. His favorite method of dealing with a surprise is with a fireball from his Magma Driver, but if it is neccesary he weilds a mighty Sudaruska with brutal strength. Often referred to as "The Sheriff" by the junior Knights he aids in their quests, his black attire makes him appear as rather a dark figure, though he has no desire other than the slaughter of those who infest the Clockworks.
