I think I got 11 in one

I think I got 11 in one arena, once. Then I died, with all the pills unused. >.< Sometimes, when ya get surrounded, even PEEELZ can't save ya.

Is it just me or do players

Is it just me or do players tend to go bananas for health capsules more than any other consumable on the field? I always have a hard time getting my own in a group; people grab them faster then a 5-year old grabs a chocolate bar at Vons.

I think that pills, in most

I think that pills, in most peoples' minds, mean more health which mean less death. Death is usually something people try to avoid. Therefore, GRAB THOSE PILLZ

Pull out a Stun Vial and let the next attack knock it out of your hands onto the floor. It'll splash onto all the enemies surrounding you, and knock them all a good distance away (Stun Vials have knockback, unlike other vials). You might be able to escape before they re-converge on you. If you don't have a Stun Vial, you might want to start carrying them.

If it's a Trojan pummeling you into the corner, pull out a gun and fire repeatedly into his shield. It'll push him back ever so slightly each time he recoils from the (otherwise harmless) impact, and you can slip out! If you don't have a gun, you're in trouble because it doesn't work with swords (the Trojan won't recoil when sword attacks hit its shield-- only projectiles... well, maybe the Spur line's projectiles will work for this?).

one of the gates a while back

one of the gates a while back had the back to back arenas on the second half(t2) i think last 2 levels before end of tier.

with 1 other person, we didnt see a pill till the level before the first arena, i think 4 dropped there and the person in group took all 4(and i assume used most)
1st arena 3 more drop i finally get 1, save it through the arena while the junkie im with is convulsing on the floor, i think from a pill overdose, maybe he got hit.. hard to tell.
went solo and had about 8 pills spare on the next arena :-( then end of tier back to haven...

the game really knows when and how to bug you.

I agree. In T3, Stun Vials

I agree. In T3, Stun Vials are the main status vial I go for. Even if I don't need them to escape being surrounded, they're still good to toss at a group to slow them down while I butcher the healer. Plus, I like tossing them at Vanaduke.
