ok, im currently at 3* equips.
Dusker set, horned owlite, tempered calibur, and pepperbox/blackhawk
i'm currently planning to go for vog cub, grey owlite, CIV/Divine avenger, and volcanic pepperbox/blitz needle.

i only have 2 weapon slot and i'm a hybrid sword/gun player but i almost mainly uses sword.
some people told me to get DA with argent peacemaker, but some tell me to get CIV with a polaris.
im so confused! I'm really searching for a veteran tip that's already on end game. And i don't just
do vanaduke or any specific runs.. i do whatever im feeling like to, so i want gears that's good on every cases.

EDIT: forgot to add owlite shield

The tl;dr: No equipment will

The tl;dr: No equipment will cover all your bases without being either ridiculously expensive or mediocre.

Weaponry is doable: Polaris and Leviathan will cover all your bases although lack of typed damage on a sword means you'll be much slower at killing monsters than someone loaded out with a Divine Avenger, Brandish, Flourish or Gran Faust for the appropriate levels. Don't get the Blackhawk or Blitz Needle (or any autogun) if it will be your primary ranged weapon. The enemies that you will most want to keep at range and will actually be able to gun are constructs, which are weak to elemental. Wolvers, gremlins and fiends all dodge like crazy, so if you really want to gun those, then you'll want a Callahan.
Armor is a problem: you could get a Dragon Scale piece (pierce/elemental) and a Fallen/Valkyrie piece (normal/shadow), but this setup basically means you'll have no strengths and will take, on average, higher damage from everything. Plus you won't get any general bonuses, like sword damage or ASI. One method is to get high/maximum UVs on your gear, but that will cost you a pretty penny for sure. The same is true for shields, which normally defend against only two types of damage and two types of status at most. I would go with Grey Owlite still, because rocket puppies are still the single most dangerous turret you will encounter. However, Barbarous Thorn Shield is an option (for the damage bonus).

My advice: Go for Vog, Skolver, or some mix of the two, and throw in a Grey Owlite or Barbarous Thorn shield. Your weakness will be fiends, particularly shock-themed fiends, but those levels are fairly rare. Against everything else, you will be reasonably effective.

Alrighty!
Upgrade that pepper box when you have a chance, for a Vanaduke run (you're aiming to get the big guy right?) , having a gun is the bare bone requirement. For crowd controlling, i suggest getting a DA since its charge attack knocks everything (except Vanaduke) a fair distance away from you.
The levi , overall, is a great sword since it deals equal damage to everything without UVs, and an extra hit wouldn't kill you (or would it? Depend on who you are) so get it. CIV looks awesome, no doubt, but I don't really want damage trade-offs.
That's my opinion, do whatever you want with your gears.
Good luck.

hmm, kindda agree with

hmm, kindda agree with pringer's suggestion.
What if i go full vog, grew owlite, CIV (hopefully with a good UV) and/or DA, and a callahan?
vog will work in most cases and since i like to do hit n' runs, works with me well. CIV got normal dmg which is not really good, and got lower damage then levia, but it'll work beautifully with vana runs, and i got DA for backup. forgot to mention that i already got horned owlite so i'm good. And since u said i'll be weak to fiends, i'll go for a callahan to back me up on those fights....

how's that?

If you had only one set of

If you had only one set of gear and wanted to use it for every strata:

Divine Veil and Skolver Coat to cover the all your defenses and the worst status effects.
Volcanic Plate Shield is an all around good shield.
Leviathan and Valiance for damage that can't be mitigated by certain enemies.
Staggerstorm for crowd control, even versus freezing immune mobs.

DA + Valiance

later on work on CIV or levi just for fun, since u like hit n run, normal dmg is good, ull never see grey numbers

u arent supposed to worry about optimal dmg if u decide to be using 2 weapon slots only

Valiance has no real drawback, but in case monsters get too close, u can swing ur DA with the increased speed

DA+GF+Snarby

DA+GF+Snarby Sword+Supernova

This will give you 1 sword for every type, and 1 good gun that will get you through everything. If you'd rather have 2 swords+2 guns, I'd trade out either GF or the Snarby Sword for a second gun of your choosing, alchemizers are good for status, if you like that, or AP if you'd prefer to have that handy for undead levels. If you do go with changing your swords for guns, I'd go with getting Polaris over Supernova- both are epic guns, but polaris isn't good on beast/gremlins, so supernova would be better all around.

For armor, vog is good for its sword bonuses, and Justifier set provides a gun bonus. If you'd rather however, deadshot and divine veil both provide decent shadow and curse resistence, and you could easily get 1 or the other, and swap them out with your armor to cover everything. Aside from that, 1 piece of skolver and a divine veil will cover everything for moderate defense.

Covering bases

Covering every base in defense terms would be Divine + Skolver, but it will only be OK against everything...

vog will work in most cases and since i like to do hit n' runs, works with me well.

Yeah, there's gear that will work in a specific area better, and that is why focusing on a single defense type is better to start while you build your other gear. Vog is exactly what you need for FSC, and you can focus on that (or say, a Construct/Gremlin stratum) and forget the other T3 areas until for now...

CIV got normal dmg which is not really good, and got lower damage then levia, but it'll work beautifully with vana runs, and i got DA for backup.

Well in this case, you're better off just building the DA only since DA does the undead in pretty much like CIV. If you really adore the Calibur line charge attack, then a Levi may be better and your UV can be something the DA doesn't counter (say, Beasts or Gremlins)

And since u said i'll be weak to fiends, i'll go for a callahan to back me up on those fights....

Flourish or Snarble Barb can be better... since you're into swords anyway. It's more dangerous though, you'll be wading knee-deep in fiends (or beasts) but at least they die real fast.

I agree with the

I agree with the Divine/Skolver setup, and I also like Silvermail/Vog Cub.
I prefer covering all the bases and getting undead dmg bonus, ASI swords/ DMG bonus, than being weak against certain types of enemies.

If you're looking for one set

If you're looking for one set to meet anything that's throw at you, it's going to be mediocre against everything.

Divine Veil + Skolver Coat is the closest thing you'll get to a set that will meet any and all needs, but the trade off is that your Normal Defense is pretty much going to be crap. Which is a pretty significant issue, considering that Normal damage is pretty much half of all damage you'll take.

It's best to gear for FSC and then branch out and grab other armor/weapon sets if you feel inclined.
