ive been playing spiral knights for a couple of days now and i'm loving it, but the part where we only get 100 energy is not enough for me, i mean 10 runs in clock work, or even the alchemy, it just takes to much and i was wondering if adding another 100 energy to it, it would sound great and maybe even more fun for u to spend with friends online. :D

Well...

This has been said lots in the past. LOTS. We came to the conclusion of no.

The crash-market price of Energy means you can play continuously anyway. Even at Tier 1. I've found myself getting enough crowns per run to buy another 100 CE, and and so play another full Tier run.

Then do it again.

And again...

again...

Well..IMO

I see that some people dont know about this market. I had an idea that would be nice. I've seen a system similar to this in a different game, where instead of being limited by a currency, it was a time restriction. and it regenerated, fast.

22 hours is the time it takes for 100 mist to be produced from 1.

15 minutes for 1 Mist Energy.

I know this will receive criticism but I am a paying player that has spent about ~$10 already. Not a lot but, maybe the energy regen could be increased to 10 minutes. That would be a huge improvement but wouldnt take away much from paying players. Or even discount events like half off elevator fee's weekend. lol That name would catch on fast.. ;)

I really like the idea of half-off elevators on the weekends. So even if you're a paying playing (which I am, lol), everyone would be pretty happy.

And it would encourage playing more on the weekends, and less during the week, when people are likely to have either school or work.

Half off weekend is a great a

Half off weekend is a great a idea and right now the fact that it costs a little over 3000 per 100 energy isn't pleasing to a non paying player.

Not an acceptable solution. Anyone can burn through 200 energy in a couple hours, and that's without crafting anything. Also, that would be 75 cents a day for a few hours of play time. That's an average of over $20 a month. I can pay for a subscription to a much better MMO than this one for a lot less money and get all the play time I want. Rift, for example, even has all the same pay methods as this game. Kind of a no-brainer here.

@Conjh13

There are players with whole sets of 5* Gear (Swords etc) - Who did not even buy one Ce and they never had to pay .75 cents to play this game.

Second, if you are spending 20 dollars a month - first how did you get this average? You have not even been playing this game for 1 month....Second, there are kids who spent only 50.00 in this game and easily never had to spend a penny more because they are smart shoppers/sellers. If you can pay for a subscription for a better MMO why are you wasting time posting here and not playing that? The reason is your addicted to Spiral Knights, and just cant get enough of the Knighty Goodness part of a well balance breakfast or snack =). Regardless, there are so many options of games for any player now a days you can even go to a store such as Best Buy and play Xbox 360 for as long as the store is open, and for that you just have to pay for the gas, or you can play THE GAME (dam I lost) or even the game of life (not the board game) the real game of Life =)....I am sure those games may cost even less than Rift . You pay for a game because you like the game your addicted or you just like the idea of the game and want to support it.
