New Wiki Login Issue

Logging into the forums with my Steam account seems to log me out of the wiki, and then clicking the "Log In" button on the wiki just takes me back to the same page instead of sending me to the login page (probably because the login page thinks I'm already logged in).

I would just continue to use my forum account of the same name, but then I can't post on the forums anymore, because I haven't actually created any knights under that account (it being purely a dummy account because Steam logins didn't work).

Seems like there's still some loose ends to tie off with the new system...

Because it's a universal

Because it's a universal login, you're just going to have to logout of your Steam account and login with your other account to do stuff on the wiki. They are working on wiki access for Steam accounts, but I don't know when that will happen.

The other option would be for you to just create a knight on your dummy account, possibly Antistone-forum if you are using Antistone on your Steam account.

The things we do to edit the wiki! I admire everyone's dedication & hard work.

well it doesnt make much sense, this bug.

So i log on. it doesnt work! it just acts as if i did not try the log on button on the wiki. heres the catch: it obly works on certain pages such as weapon discriptions, but on the home or my guild page, it will not let me log on. i could be logged on on the SK site, and the wiki, but when i visit the home page of the wiki or the aonic doom guild page, it acts as if im not logged on. it makes no sense!! please fix is soon as you can.

Try hitting logout, clear any

Try hitting logout, clear any Spiral Knight cookies from your browser, clear your browser cache, open up only the wiki and log in there (don't login on a forum page first or anything).

It works... but not on google chrome. guess ill just use internet explorer for now, thanks for the help!

Hmmm...

The same thing happened to me while I tried to login with my steam account, I can still comment on posts like these, but I haven't been able to edit my guildpage... SAD;
