Scammer general question on precedures

So I got scammed today. Nothing much really, it was only 8000 crowns, but still.
I joined a group just 1 level before Basil, so when we arrive at Basil I cannot buy from him. I do see 2 nice recipes that I want, so I ask if someone can buy me those two. One person says "I will". I trade him 8000 crowns, and he goes back to Basil (to buy the recipes I think). After he is done he leave the group, does not respond to messages and later logs off.

Obviously I reported him. But here are my questions:
- with the report function I can only "report" him. I cannot fill in a report, or explain in detail what happened. Is that not needed?
- will I ever get the crowns back? Not that it is a dramatic loss, but a loss is a loss nonetheless.
- will a GM contact me, to ask about the situation?
- will I ever hear from this case ever again, of what actions were taken?

The only thing you can do is submit a support request and hope for the best. I think I'd heard about what they did for scammers in the past, but I forget what it was, exactly.

Hope you get your money back

Hope you get your money back, but usually, I give them the money at the same time they give me the recipe, so precautions could have been taken to avoid being scammed. And I don't think the GMs will care too much about "virtual money", and that the complain button is used when someone is harrasing or not following proper etiquette. But seeing that it is "virtual money", you should've at least gotten 8k consolation.

Some ppl say they don't have the money to do it, so you give them the stuff to do it, then they just take it. Someone once scammed me of all the stuff (minus energy and cr) needed to make a Cobalt helm. It was a big deal to me at the time, cuz I had just started out, but not so much anymore. He told me he would craft one for me, and...you can guess ><

For all of your 'will they?' questions, I think there will be a negative answer, sorry.

I got called a scammer once...for no reason...really. Tried to sell Wolver gear, and random guy just shouts: DON'T LISTEN TO THIS GUY! HE'LL STEAL All YOUR CR!!!!!

Fortunately, it worked out. That troll was still a troll though.. even AFTER I sold it. Pft. It was even cheaper than cheapest buy now on AH
