And, can you earn the same mist tank on different knights? Like, lets say one of your knights earn a mist tank from clearing whatever, can another knight you have earn it again?

Say what? Bark Modules?
You can obtain a mist tank the following ways:
By earning clearance to a new tier;
Buying the Starter Pack or Battle Pack;
Reaching Haven from the Rescue Camp;
Being online on a certain day (though to my knowledge this has only happened once or twice);
There probably have been other giveaways as well, but I don't remember them.
You can obtain a mini mist tank (15 mist instead of 100) by:
As a bribe prize from King Krogmo;
Recruiting new players via Steam.

Huh?
Bark Modules are from killing the Twins, not just any boss for the first time... And I have never seen them giving a Mist Tank away for them, though I could have missed it I suppose.

The spiral warden is the one
The spiral warden is the one that gives the mist tanks when you get tier clearance but it has nothing to do with bark modules.
Also i created a new knight to test if i could get another tank for leaving rescue camp but i didn't get anything like Blade-Girl said.

But seriously, Bark Modules are won from Roarmulus Twins. Artefacts are RECON Modules gotten by beating a boss, and only the first time.

Simple mistake really, unless you actually bother to retain the info crammed into your head by this game. Personally, I had a fun time reading about the Energy in this game, like the distillation of mist energy and more stable CE and all that...Cuz ima crazy sci-fi freak XD
You probably just like to play the game: YEA! Ima go whack stuff with this...barbed-thingy that resembles a sword! (Cutter) :D SO don't worry bout mixing things up. No-ones faulting you...yet...O_O
