I have a Dell Studio1555 running windows 7 (64bit) with a processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz and 4096 MB of RAM
My Video Card is: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 wiht a display mode of 1920x1080 (32bit).

I have all fully updated drives and versions of JAVA.

I feel that my compouter is definitely up to par with the minimum system requirements, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Everytime I try to start the game from either a web browser or throgh downloading the game locally, I get a black screen that flashes for about 10 seconds and then it closes only to leave me with a Java bug report that says

"we were unable to initialize thegame's graphical display. Please take the following steps to ensure compatibility:
Visit the technical support forum for up-to-date information and suggestions.
Make sure your system satisfies the game's minimum requirements.
Update your video drivers.
Ensure that hardware video acceleration is fully enabled."

I have done all of this, and I have been to your forum that gives technical suport and system minimum requirement specs.

Nothing seems to work, and I am very eager to play this game. Please Help

Thanks! =)

Are you using Dell's most up

Are you using Dell's most up to date driver or the ATI direct most up to date driver? Dell's "up to date" driver is over two years old even though your video card has monthly release support from ATI/AMD still.

I think it could be Dell's

I think it could be Dell's because i ran DXDIAG and hit the display tab and it said the driver was from 2009.

Is there anyway i can update this then?

Because it would be a real shame if I couldn't play this game when all my friends have it and their computers/laptops are as old or older than mine

Try using the most recent

Try using the most recent Catalyst Drivers available (11.3) You should need just the "Display Driver" unless you're a fan of the Catalyst Control Center, if you don't know what that is then you don't need it.

You may need to uninstall your current display driver first to allow install.

I just installed the driver,

I just installed the driver, I did not need to uninstall my current display driver. It seemed to do everything on its own. now to test to see if this works!

I did download and install

I did download and install the driver for that, but it seems to have done nothing. So i uninstalled my current driver, and my computer kinda freaked out and made the resolution crappy. I had to reinstall my current driver to get it back to normal.

I must be doing something wrong.

The freak-out when

The freak-out when uninstalling the display driver is totally normal. Not sure what's up now if the game still won't work.

Unless you have the same or similar computer as the Tirion30 (using an ATI Mobility) card described please create a new thread following the example of what steps were performed. If you do have the you have a similar problem, and have gone through the same troubleshooting steps, on a Dell Studio laptop using ATI Mobility graphics then that driver link should work for you too.

MoonLite If you just did a

If you just did a Windows upgrade from XP note that you will have to re-download every bit of driver software for devcies you use. If you didn't that means your computer is running on Windows default drivers.
