I am a player that buys and sells energy often. I believe that selling energy is a great way to obtain crowns but I have noticed many times energy sellers who post shoot them selves in the foot and limit there own profits.
Issue I noticed:
-Many times energy sellers undercut each other way to much. For example, on a good day energy can sell for around 6,000 crowns. One seller may post 500e for 6,000 but then another seller will post 200e for 5,800. Then another will post 200e for 5,700 and the so on and so on undercutting profits. Remember, you want the highest price because you are charged per post sale.
Suggestions on how to avoid this:
For those who have a huge amounts of energy to sell try not to post 30 posts of energy for a single amount and this also goes for bulking each others post. An example for bulking would be adding 10 post to a post that already has 20 post. I would suggest keeping posts no more then 15 per price because most people I believe don't have the patiance to wait that long for that amount of posts to run down so undercutting starts and the selling prices drop way below what people are willing to pay. What I believe we need as energy sellers is to have patience posting. People want to play so the demand of energy is high so if we limit undercutting each other the price will stay higher and we will earn more crowns.
I suggest if you see a post of 10 for 6,000 make a post for 6,100. If we avoid undercutting we will drive the price up and probably find an equilibrium and the most crowns for our energy.
@bottom part
People try, and people do, but that offer to sell would then be below the 6000 offer, as the 6000 would be a better deal.
The only way to do that would be to buy CE for 6000, post a offer for 6100, etc.
I think that's what you mean.
