It shows that it's an account name, not a knight name, for people who haven't set their knight names yet.

Just to confirm: Sadiekate is correct. We wanted to make sure that accountname Bob, for example, couldn't be mistaken for knightname Bob.

Do we get to choose our avatars or are they randomly selected per account and static?
Edit: Found it! Near the Search bar --> Forum Preferences --> Edit --> Many pictures! (But none of Gunslinger, yet. Maybe I will switch to a different knight so I can use an avatar that more closely matches its arsenal...)

Choose. Click Forum
Choose. Click Forum Preferences next to the Search bar at the top of the screen, and click edit. Theres a nice variety to choose from.
