I love a lot of the creatures we face, skellies are definitely a top but also wolvers with there fuzzy looking coats and cute little sleek movements, I often feel bad about "devastating the native populations" just to get me some money or to wear there body parts for amour or costume, can you imagine of there was a creature that went around tearing up our populations then boasting about how good the remains look wrapped around there bodies?

I like to think they don't die but its more like they are destabilized and have to go to the core to reform.

Basically its because they have been around the core so long and in its energy field that they have bonded to it and they are more like bubbles of mobile energy and when we beat them its more like we pop them and they have to go back to re-inflate, this would explain the purple poof after them not to mention how they keep coming back all the time including the "one of a kinds" like snorbolax, jelly king and the other bosses, also we might be bonding to the core explaining why we have to fill with mist or crystal energy in order to walk around.

Anyways random thoughts of rational on a fictional game.... YAY ME!

I think the monsters,

I think the monsters, especially spookats, and bosses, are more defeated or stunned than killed.

Just think of it as them

Just think of it as them being composed of particles that, when get beat up too much, poof and teleport back to the core to rest up. :P

I think that they are manufactured somewhere... That would explain why Menders mends instead of heals.

New units are made when existing ones expires.

Bosses are harder to make so they're not common, thankfully.

They die.

On a lighter note, humans go around destroying other species and wearing their body parts.

its raining kats and wolvers outside!

hmm, so during a power surge weekend would they start forming all over and dropping out of the air on us while we are at auction house?

lol

And yay! for another thinks the theory of them just going to the core for rest! and maybe mending is the fixing of the energy bubble/form body whatevers.

Maybe if a part gets separated a certain amount of time like a tail for bushy tail they don't get taken to the core with the rest of the creature.... which would mean there are wolvers missing tails and bones as well as cromalisks missing scales trying to grow new ones in the core :p hee hee, that would probebly look funny.

THEY DIE

And are reborn any time we revisit the level, only to be killed in a matter of minutes. No wonder they hate us.

I know

'cause im that gremlin you killed a couple days ago

It works like this.
We species of the clockworks are natural, except for contructs, but the undead are also natural. Tinkenzar isnt just the creator of the clockworks, he also is the gaurdian of it. When a creature dies, the "soul" of the creature leaves the body, explaining the purple smoke. Sometimes, you can kill the soul in the form of SOUL JELLIES but Tinkenzar was so darn smart, he made pathways for souls so they rarely ever turn into soul jellies. Bosses, when they are killed, their soul is tied to the area, (vanaduke comes to mind) snarlbolax, wildwoods, jk, jelly palace, roarmulus twins are manufactured. and vanaduke is already undead, his soul never leaves.

NOW YOU KNOW!
