Sooo.....what do you think happened to the Alpha Squad?
I think the Alpha Squad once making it into the Core, confronted the Crimson Order, where both teams clashed in an awe-inspiring battle of epic proportions, but something went wrong, that I don't know, and the Alpha Squad was defeated, then I don't know what.
Alpha Squad actually already left the Clockworks. It's just that they ended up in Haven 0 instead of the regular Havens.
When we reach the Core we'll see them and they'll laugh and say "Holy [feces], really!? It took you THAT long to find the back door?" and "You fought WHAT to get here? ahahahahaha, oh wow!"
Wasn't there some random little bit of fluff floating around concerning Alpha Squad and Trojans? I swear I'm not crazy, I've seen it somewhere.
i´d say alpha squad is still exploring, BEYOND the core. does anyone get the idea that the spiral knights are terrible with diplomacy? i mean:
1-see a planet
2-crash on it
3- declare war to and kill every sentient life without trying to solve the problem peacefully.

Well, I'm sure it was all a completely justifiable situation. The standard: "They hit me first!"
Then slap turns to punch, then punch turns to drop-kick, then drop-kick turns to low blow, then low blow leads to clubbing, the clubbing turns to hacking and slashing, then people ask: 'Hey, since when were we at war?' To which everyone shrugs and replies: 'Who cares, now kill that Chromalisk before it eats your pill straight off your belt.'
See? completely justified :D
We've found out the hard way...
They were walking to the elevator when everyone else was already there, as they reached the elevator, the gates lifted up two quickly, cutting them in half.
Oh, how many knights I've seen fall to these accursed elevators!
Are trapped...somewhere beyond the core. I belive....(just a hunch) that the Crimson Order is going to be a tier 3 boss, which the recon module then reveals the path to the core in which they are trapped in the hands of King Tinkinzar.
They probably ventured directly into the core, which was locked immediately upon entry in true trap fashion. One huge mouse trap.
That actually sounds really believable.
and the crimson order is going to be like fighting 4 bosses at 1 time and they would be as tough or tougher than knights.
They are dead, they got through FSC but the Crimson Order created a trap for them, so before they even saw Vanaduke they were hurled into the core. Where only Tinkinzar can survive and the Alpha Squad is no more. BTW is there supposed to be a recon module extract to read for Vanaduke or is it non-existent, cos i swear i attacked the thing and i checked in my artifacts and it weren't there.
There is no Alpha Squad. The Spiral Order made it up to motivate knights to break into the core so they can slaughter a peaceful Gremlin king in order to begin their conquest of the universe.
I think that'd be a nice twist.
Why don't you ask the creator of the Clockworks? Oh wait...
Do you know those little camps you see in the Clockworks? I think they are at one of them.
Because we don't already have enough active threads concerning the Alpha Squad?
Hmm lets try this: Alpha Squad's epic battle with the crimson order triggered...something....
