Hello, I was wondering what the point of various wear with "sleep resist" is.
It seems no monsters actually cause the sleep status yet, I've only seen the status in vial form.
in anycase, I think I might be onto something katty once again.

Almost all the sleep monsters
Almost all the sleep monsters were removed from the game but they didnt remove the statuses from the equipment. The only sleep monster left is the rare sloom.

There used to be an entire
There used to be an entire set of levels dedicated to the sleep delivering slimes, the Slooms. Check out the Starlight Cradle thread that is active right now. It's largely unused at this point, however it's leftovers in Vial form and the Jelly armor set suggests that it might make a comeback someday.
Right now Sleep resist on gear is not useful, but Sleep Vials are pretty good at "turning off" a monster for a while
