how do you use normal shots so you can get the ricochet to hit as soon as the first bullet lands? so you'll see the two damage numbers pop up simultaneously
alchemer question
so basically hit him on my right side so the left-ward ricochet will go through him. correct?
and i just bought myself a firotech alchemer with undead bonus very high for 7.9k. is that good or should i find a ASI one?
thanks
i use an undead vh firotech.
it freaking annihilates zombies and kats.
i would probably prefer a vh constructs, but, that's a lot of grinding to switch one kickass weapon for another.
since i use nameless and a trinket, all of my weapons have max asi, so i don't bother with that uv on my rig.
stay on that uv if you dont gonna be a gunslinger.
I do want to be a gunslinger though.. I do have a gigawatt pulsar; i just want to experiment with the alchemer series
Generally a gunner wants 2 damage trinkets and a gun ASI set which means any damage or asi uv higher than medium is wasted. He could go your route and pick up a different second trinket but that's still sub optimal as you only get those 4 damage levels against undead and not constructs and you now need to try and make sure all your guns get a vh damage uv to maintain parity.
@Actin: trust me if you got 2 DMG trinket you want CTR UVs for you alchemer, and medium UV are more "easy" to grind.
but if you happen to have the vh uv's, there's no reason to change over to an asi set of weapons is there?
both have max speed.
one has 4 dam levels vs. all, the other has 2 damage vs. all and 6 vs. specific.
also, if you're running an autogun with a ctr variant, you're choosing 2 levels of damage over 2 levels of asi for that weapon.
is that optimal?
Actin is totally correct:
As gunslinger you will gonna buy yourself 2 armor pieces, both increasing ASI medium and 2 modules, both increasing DMG medium.
This means all your weapons gonna have ASI and DMG on very high.
1: low
2: medium
3: high
4: very high
5: ultra
6: max.
if you now got an UV dmg bonus very high (4) + the standard dmg bonus of very high (4) you come over maximum (8) and the maximum is just 6, so you wasted a dmg bonus of medium (2).
So IF you gonna be a full gunslinger, you just want CTR as UV's, especially for alchemers! The only weapon where you can stay on a ASI or DMG bonus are Callahan, Polaris, Argent Peacemaker (no go for gunslinger), Sentenza (no go for gunslinger in pve, quite ok in pvp). All alchemers, needles and Biohazard want to have CTR.
Manual aim slightly off target and alchemer shots will fly into your target.
With Nova Driver it's not uncommon to hit for 350+200+200 on single Slags in FSC with only +Medium Damage, even more if they're clustered together.
the ricochets always go left from the direction your character is facing.
for example, if the monster is facing you, hit him in the left arm.
the ricochet will bounce through his body and hit a second and sometimes a third time.
