Hi all,
Bit of a forum lurker here, been looking around for a few months and finally decided I have something to add so I figured I’d make a post.
Something I have noticed on the forums is that there is an undercurrent of people not particularity happy with the current flavour of the month builds in tier 3 Lockdown, some things killing easier than what people would expect.
Something I had a thought about was why people don’t have a Proto league…
You know people play Lockdown with nothing but the proto gear which we started the game with, there may be exceptions in that we would need to agree on a bomb which people would be able to use so that not to alienate our bomb using friends but it does create a solution about builds and kills being more about weapons than perceived skill…
Anyone have an opinion on this? Could be fun and competitive, plus the fact that you can’t wear costumes in game would mean you’d be able to spot people using equipment above their station. That and the ability to have wardrobe sets means it would be easy to set up.
Flame me if you wish, I just thought it might be a decent idea =)

Every day after the server
Every day after the server reset everyone should join teir 1 lockdown.
maybe use 1 zone to announce for people to join.

I guess I should have put it in Suggestions, but it's not exactly a suggestion for the Devs more of a thing for teh community to take forward as we'd just have to set the wardrobes up and make sure we only equip Proto gear and then the arena system would take care of the rest I would imagine.

I would impagine the tier
I would impagine the tier system would take care of it, or player power, I mean we all know what the proto gear looks like so someone turning up with different gear would look pretty distinctive.
Also people would likely get filtered into different groups if they tried to bring in different equipment.
That's how I see it, but unfortunately I fear it would come down to it being player monitored.
This 'Proto League', should then be allowed costumes, seeing as everyone will be more or less the same.
For the bomb, why not just have 'Proto bomb' ? They DO sell that y'kno.
EDIT: Ah wait, this should be in suggestions. My guess is that it'll be moved there soon.
