Not actually solved but I just noticed something else infuriating with using this computer, they disabled the display settings AND the volume manager. If I can't play Spiral Knights, or listen to music, I might as well go back to using my laptop. Because I can't delete this topic, I'm just editing this part out and leaving the rest as it was.
Another thread had this exact same problem

Now the reason I say this is not urgent is this is a computer I will use only once (or very few times) and this request may be impossible so I don't really care. But in case you do have a solution feel free to write one, if you do it after say three hours from the time I wrote this, don't bother, I should be gone from this computer lol.

Now because of the above warning, I was wondering if I could just skip the fullscreen mode and go straight to 1024 or 800 resolution windowed mode. I know you can do this in the registry but I cannot access that on this one.

If its impossible, just let the topic die, you don't even have to bother with a reply.
