I just bought the recpie for the miracle hood but I was thinking about getting an extra weapon slot but I'm not sure I should
Should I get a Miracle hood or a Weapon slot?

Well I was thinking about it considering how its my first slot upgrade

Well i have a miracle hood
Well i have a miracle hood and cloak myself so i would recommend them.
Having both would be even better though. If this is your 4th weapon slot then i should recommend getting that,
only if your 4th choice is a good one. There are many theories. Besides your elemental hood and wolver coat,
you might want to get the dusker coat for both 3* equipment. Although if you want to get a head start and the tier
3 access then i would suggest getting the miracle hood. Good explanation?

what weapons?
Goldenspycrab, you still haven't told us which three weapons you'd be carrying. Or even whether they're swords, guns, bombs, or a mix. This matters. For example, if you carry an Ascended Calibur and a Pulsar, and your only other decent weapon is a Winmillion, then a third weapon slot would offer you very little value.
As far as Tier 3 access goes: The first half of each tier is good, because it gets you to Basil. So if you want to shop for 4-star and 5-star recipes at depth 23, then Tier 3 access is valuable to you. On the other hand, the second half of each tier is good because it offers more heat and crowns. So if you're interested in accumulating crowns and energy, then I'd recommend farming depths 14, 15, and 16 (not 17) of the Jelly King stratum, and this doesn't require Tier 3 access.
Is this your third weapon slot or your fourth? Do you have a weapon to put in it? What would your weapon configuration be?
Maybe it's an illusion caused by the largely meaningless stat bars on items, but there seems to be a big jump in capability between 3-star and 4-star stuff. So Miracle Hood might be a big improvement on Elemental Hood. I've used this equipment a lot, but I just don't remember.
