I got banned from spiral knights for no reason, it says the reason is spamming, but as the complain description clearly says, spam can only be a valid reason when your sell/buy offers are making it difficult for other people to talk, first of all, i went playing today, and sending my recipe sell offers without blocking the vision of anyone's talk baloon, it was like i was sending the offers one each 20 secs meaning i was CLEARLY not spamming, then i Alt tabbed sk and went check some vids i wanted to see, and then i notice sk gets silenced, when i go see, i got temporary banned...... I GOT BANNED FOR NO REASON. And the reason was spam, i tried to put Support up there then "Contact Support" but the page gets blank. This is really unfair since i didn't make it difficult for any people to talk when sending my sell offers, i bet someone randomly complained me and SK's support banned me for a unvalid complain. Please SK support, FIX THIS PLEASEEE

Banned for no reason would be just walking around when suddenly, bam, a message says, "You have Been Banned For No Reason so Eff You".
may be somebody was board to death in SK and he hit the banned on you for no reason at all.... wait a minute, are you saying you banned your self in SK?? how is that possible ejejejejjeje well just contact Support and tell them what happened, they will help you!
debian you are clearly the type of guy who thinks game staff never fails their job, if i really spammed to make other people to get difficulties to talk, i wouldn't even be here trying to reclaim the rights i have, btw, if you try to sell stuff at haven 1 and suddenly you get banned, i bet you wouldn't be talking trash to me acting like they are never wrong and whoever their ban should be banned. It's not a question if i have agreed or not with the ban, i did nothing to fulfill the ban deserve needings, i just tried to sell my goddamn items, so think twice before you post something really useless that really don't help me out
heh yea, you probably did deserve that ban. Sounds like your idea of selling is copy-pasting at post limit in /1, /2, /shout, etc. If a GM showed up and got annoyed at you, BLAM.

People make mistakes and you just have to deal with it. Nothing you can do.
Personally I avoid Haven 1 completely and use Trade chat. The 30 second hoarse voice time kinda guarantees that you can't accidentally spam.
First of all, it sounds like you were sending out your sell offers through the regular chat, not the trade chat. In the game, type /join trade, or /join 2, and when putting up buy/sell offers, type /trade (your message here). Second, if nobody else is talking, then you don't have to send out a new offer every twenty seconds. It stays up in the chat log for people to see until other people talk enough that it gets pushed up. Finally, every twenty seconds is pretty frequent, especially if you were talking in the the local chat. Sometimes the trade chat gets crowded and you have to post frequently, but in local chat, you shouldn't have to say anything that frequently. Rule of thumb, if your message is still within the first ten or so lines of the chat log, you probably don't need to send it again. Someone probably saw your frequent messages, /complained instead of /ignored you, and then a GM decided you were posting too frequently and banned you. They don't just get a complain and auto-ban someone, they actually have someone looking these complaints over, viewing the chat logs, and then deciding if it's a legitimate complaint. Now I agree that the person that /complained you should have /ignored you instead, but if they decided to temporarily ban you, they probably had a reason.

i personal know there 3 types of players...
1- the ones who really care about Sk the game and actually play it and have fun with others like family and friendship.
2- others that are in haven next to the Auction House that like to scam other just for the fun it to steal other players money or energy... those are there miserable life players who have nothing ells better to do in SK.
3- and the rest are players that come and go and do not care nothing about SK and there just passing by to see whats SK all about.
Nothing more to it if you ask me..
just remember have fun, ignore the Ignorant players and pay no mind to crazy players that like to play with your feelings.....
just have fun in SK and don't wary about the rest.

that´s not the problem, the problem is when you are the only one appearing in the chat at the left. if no one buy your recipes after 10 attempts, no one want them. if you started to play TODAY then you dont have any usefull recipe, try to sell them on the AH.
spamming the offer of unusefull recipes can be seen as trolling and many people can complain about you
maybe you call the attention of some trolls who complain about you :|
i don't think i should be banned, cuz i sent offers even slower than people that was sending offers everytime the offer in the baloon ends, it really pisses me off seeing people doing spam worse than me getting unpunished with this and only me getting banned for the spam, when i didn't even spam...

Kon-Ron: i didn't start playing today, i meant to say i entered in my account today then i got banned, and btw, i got banned again like 5 days ago, for spamming too, when i wasn't even selling stuff atm i got banned. I never spammed in my playing gametime, i always tried to sell stuff the same way i do today, and i was never banned in my 2 month gameplay, just now, i got 2 bans in a row for doing nothing that goes agaisnt the ToS.
I suspect Eurydice will clarify this matter in due time.

Not the best point in the world. If I got banned I would be upset at first, but I wouldn't go off about it on the forums and jeopardize my whole account. Spiral Knights isn't the only game in the world. If you don't have a life, (no offense by this, I'm not pretending that I have a life XD) play something else over those two days.
dude, i didn't complain about my first ban, i deserved it. but this second they have no proof of my violation in the ToS because i didn't violated it... only if they think saying something every 20 secs when everyone says something every 3 secs is a reason for being banned

Well, am I repeatedly typing the same message over a period of time? If I'm not, as your situation suggests, I wouldn't be banned - and if I was, I would take it to the proper avenue for complaints, i.e. the support page. They didn't go out of their way to ban you and you alone, you were reported for spamming and you were spamming. Your argument is "everyone was spamming harder" and that's just silly.
Because in the second ban i was like every other spiral knights player with lots of things to sell after a hard day's work, trying to sell all those things like any other guy, sending sell offers. in the first i really did something that really violated the ToS, like REAL spamming.. the first ban had completely different reasons from the second (which i don't even know the reason for it). Im not getting myself convinced till someone post a true opinion that proves i got banned for a reason that is written in the ToS like it says in the Temporary Ban window when i try to enter my account
i got a spamming warning for no reason once too xD
but well ppl do mistakes and others submit false reports, its not a big deal ;) its a temporary ban, means wait a bit and go back playing :D

Michael and Replicant are the 2 i wanna point out here.
1. Replicant is right, Complaining here makes it worse for you overall. In the long run, You should just ignore the ban; because it was temporary you should just deal with the fact that people will report others to be trolls/griefers/mean people in general.
2. Complaining that you have a ban and want it reversed, is NOT a good reason to get unbanned. Also I've seen someone get banned for saying they were inviting to their guild every 1 minute. 20 seconds means someone will report you.
3. You will not get unbanned just because you believe you weren't spamming, this is from OOO point of view. Whether they think you spammed or not is under their choice.
4. MOVE TO GRAVEYARD. There is nothing you can do really to get unbanned so just deal with it and wait it out. You can get banned again just for this thread alone so yes take the ban in the face and just besure to not copy and paste into chat every 20 seconds anymore.

You should be banned, end of story. If your sending the same message over and over that constitutes as spamming. I sure would have reported you for spam as I have complained countless members of the game population for spam(it seems like they don't know what it is).
Please for future reference, there is trade channel(gee wonder what you do there?) and a auction house. Please do not stand outside the auction house and shout your sell offers over and over. Try doing it once every 5 minutes instead of every 20 seconds, that is clearly spam. Also, zone chat is not for trade, you can receive a ban for spamming zone chat with sell offers. Also if you know how to use the forums, there is a part called the bazaar.
If you need help knowing what exactly spam is, trying reading ToS before you click accept.
Edit: Net people are normally only banned because they are complained and therefore the GM looks into it. Keep in mind they can clearly read the chat logs and see your same message comes up every two lines.

They gave you the reason, spam, like you clearly said in your first post. I think this is the point where you realize you were wrong and result to name calling. They already know why they banned you because they read it and said oh hey this is clearly spam. It isn't like someone complained you and they said oh complain we ban every time we get a complain. No, a complain is like someone waving a flag to come check things out. They checked it out, you broke the rules, you got banned.

The GM's have access to chat logs. This is both fact and common knowledge, and therefore not up for debate. The fact that they have chat logs of you spamming is solid evidence against you. This is also fact. They can literally look at what you said, how many times you said it, and in how short of a time you said it. Once again, not up for debate, facts are facts.

What you said there is the logical equivalent of saying "I own a tall building, but it's really short." That's called a contradiction, and it is something you have there. You did get banned for a reason, and that reason was Spam. How do I know this? Because that's the reason they gave you. The GM's do NOT just say "Well, I don't like this person. I'm going to ban them and then give them a false reason." I'm not saying people don't make mistakes, but if they banned you, and gave you a reason, then that's the reason why you got banned. This point is simple, and yet you refuse to grasp the concept thus far. I suggest for your own sake you try to wrap your mind around the fact that you were not singled out by the GM's.
