Dynamic crown payouts for material depositing in gates

The crown payouts should be dynamically priced so that there's incentive to get the rarer minerals rather than just getting the biggest ones (which happen to be reds and yellows due to the bum-fucktarded spawning algorithm.)

For example, for virtually all the gates open right now, in this system crown rewards would be:

Least common: Purple: +10
Less common: Blue/Green: +5
Common: Red: 0
THEY'RE EVERYWHERE: Yellow: -2

People who take note of this and actually read will avoid taking red/yellow and pick up the less common cool colors to maximize their crown pay for depositing minerals.

A total non-response, great.

What this system would mean is that players who dump the most common minerals will find themselves losing crowns or gaining none, while incentivizing finding less-represented minerals.

Looks good, although I wouldn't go all the way down to the negative -- The game half-tells you to just autosell, and losing money from autoselling will probably make people angry.

It could serve as a wakeup call, though just not paying anything out for someone getting eleventy billion yellow minerals could be enough of a dealbreaker as is.

wouldn't that ..idk.. kind of defeat the purpose of crafting our own stages? Not that anyone has or is at the moment but they did quite a bit during preview.

All this will cause it a lot of purple then, and then what, we get complaints that not enough red and green are being gathered? The truth here is we need a nice mix of all the floors, just because we see a lot of one thing does not mean it is unnecessary.

This would not fix anything, only cause a new problem.

Also since when is yellow the most common? I thought red was, and even though that might be true, I basically see an even distribution of crystals across the board from level to level after that last update.
