Considering I grab blue crystals at the highest priority and enjoy snow and ice levels, I figure I should work towards a loadout that is able to still inflict good damage on other enemies but does extra and blocks extra from ice type damage.
Considering my mish mash of equipment, I'll need to start over from the beginning in terms of weaponry and armor? I want to prioritize attack speed, use a gun with more than three shots as a secondary backup, and have armor and shields that resist freeze.
On an unrelated note, a loadout planner in game to help you plan recipes to buy as well as crowns and CE would be neato.
What should I build towards as an anti-ice level swordsman?
blue crystals? i dont understand the post, but i can answer the title
all u need is a maximum freeze resist uv on 5* armor or helm
itd be nice to have a fire weapon to burn ice jellys if u wana be able to burn them, but thats pretty optional..
1: Buy sizzling hearthstones with primal sparks and wear whatever armor you like
2: Don't refreeze icecubes with a hail driver or glacius charge attack.
3: there is no 3
@guardian-pichu: skolver, and fire weps
@fradow: the entire autogun line fires more than 3 shots.......
@no-thanks: blue cyrstals are what are used to make ice leves via gates
@nicoya-kitty: lol. if ur using slow swords, u will wants ASI trinkets, go for armor UV's. Full Skolver does max freeze resist anyway
Depends on how you see it. For me, autogun fire 2 rounds. The amount of bullets, in this case, is not really relevant, as each round will have all its bullet in the same direction.
There are not specific weapons against freeze strata.
The only freeze resistant armor for swordsman (and you are lucky to have one) is Skolver, which have bonus damage. You'll have to grab attack speed on trinkets.
As for freeze-resistant shields, you have 2 choices : Heater shield for elemental resistance or Skelly shield for shadow resistance
For guns with more than 3 shots, there are only Argent Peacemaker and Sentenza. All others have 3 shots or less.
There are no loadout planner, but a great wiki : http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Main_Page
P.S. : please note that except Skolver and perhaps Argent Peacemaker, I wouldn't recommend ANY of that stuff to anyone. There is really no reason to gear against freeze specifically.
