I'm having trouble deciding wheter to aim for a vog cub set of armor or a crest of almire first, i would like opinions on the subject to help me decide

Getting Vog will help you run FSC easier, which in turn facilitates the crest. I assume you have a decent shield for running FSC of course, like Grey Owlite or Volcanic plate.

no, i have a blackened crest i got in a contest as my shield, and i'm not talking about FSC alone but in general which i should go toward first

i mean...
vog would give me ASI on my swords which would be nice to have since i'm a faust/DA user, but almire would also be good as the extra defense and resistances on it would help a lot too, so i really can't decide here :/

if you dont have the CoA recipie yet, u might want to consider selling the blackened crest.
if u dont want to sell the crest, and ur SURE u want a crest of almire as ur shield, get that first.
if ur not sure, get vog

Sorry, but what armour are you using right now? Vog will make it massively easier to run FSC, and the ASI effect is nothing to sneeze at, either.

i'm turning toward Coa, due
i'm turning toward Coa, due to the fact i shield, yet it doesn't seem effective enough in certain situations, so i may decide to go for the shield then the armor

I really like both the Fang
I really like both the Fang of Vog and Crest of Almire.
Alas, I must say the FoV is far better, as it can one hit TONS of enemies, including T3 ones with the charge.
However, you could get the crest and I can sell you a FoV. XD
Edit: Wait what oh. Read that wrong. Thought you meant FoV or Crest of Almire. xD
Get a Vog Piece first, then get a Skolver piece, then the crest.

vog is so much better as you already have the special as in ash tail i mean a mix of skolver and vog willlll be such a good combo and thats what i look forward to doing myself (im not even nearly as epic as you ) because the extra power of skolver will go well with the new found speed of vog alright it doest mean much to you but its a good idea from my eyes

i've decided to go with CoA first, just went on a tier 3 run with some guildies, my shield died on me a few times so i'm upgrading it due to this.
gotta have first bump :P
