How do you do a charged attack?

I've seen all my friends turn on this bright yellow light & do a charged attack but how do you get the light in the first place? if that makes any sense at all XD

All you have to do is hold

All you have to do is hold your attack button. If you use Left-click to attack, just hold down left-click and you'll soon start to charge. When your fully charged, you'll left loose a powerful charged attack. :)

If you do so, you first will

If you do so, you first will shot one and then charge. But you can charge witout shooting. Hold you shield up, wait a moment, start charging, stop shielding and now the knight will start charging :)
