When you look at a list of gear that is for sale, or a recipe, it does not give you a very clear picture, just a small icon that represents it. Maybe more clear pictures?

you can always click the "preview" button at the lower left corner of the screen and click on an item to see what it looks like on your character NOTE: this only works when you are browsing a VENDOR not the AUCTION HOUSE

Exactly, it should be available at the auction house. I usually do look it up on the wiki to get better pictures, just wanted an easier way.

The wiki does have pretty
The wiki does have pretty good pictures though.
Check out the wiki, as seen to the left of the forum button, to see better visuals of items.
