First - Vitapod

I found tremendly ridiculous...
When you get, add more health points to your knight , but you need to recover the bonus...so that's mean you lost health instead.

What I propose: KEEP THE PERCENTAGES.
Ex: You have 10 full Health bars(mean 100%) and you got more 10...so your health now is 20 full Health bars(mean 100%).
You have 5 full Health bars of 10 bars (mean 50%) and you got more 10...so your health bar now is 10 full Health bars of 20 bars (mean 50%).

Second - Shield

Another one...Shields DON'T GIVES TO YOU RESISTENCE...but in inscription says "status resist".

What I propose: "Shield resists to" incription instead of just "status resistence".

thats an illusion u don't

thats an illusion u don't gain or lose health just gain more capacity i dont agree with your suggestion since part of the challenge comes from limited health you get from hearts and pills

what do you mean "DON'T GIVES TO YOU RESISTENCE"? some do i know since a grey owlite shield lasts longer in a fire trap than an Aegis

um..... thats not how

um..... thats not how vitapods work. They increase your "total capacity", and neither add nor remove health from your health bar. If you started with 5 full bars, and picked up at a 12 pod, you STILL have 5 full bars. Doing what your suggesting would allow people to regen health by repeatedly dropping and picking up the same vitapod. Unless dropping it took away health bars to the keep the % scale.

@Madadder: hes saying the wording is ambiguous to how shields actually works. But "Shield resists to" doesn't clarify it either. Part of the problem is people assume the shield is an extension to armor, which is standard practice in a lot of games. They need to make shield stat labels more distinct from armor, or people will continue to make that mistake.

The most obvious change would be to replace Health with Durability, but I can still see people confusing the mechanic. Replacing Resistance with "Blocking Bonus vs" would go a long way though.

And for the record, fire traps deal elemental damage, which owlite shields have strong defense against. The fire resist does help it, but not nearly as much as the elemental def. If you wanna see how much difference the resistance makes, use a Crest shield on a fire trap and see how long it lasts.

Is your helm or armor give you resist to something?
Its because they realy give you resistence to some status...but thats the difference of shields.
Shields dont give you that resists...they just resist as they take damage...remeber: Shields absorv damage AND bad status...and thats mean your shield sometimes needs a resist in order to not take too damage.
And thats means...if your shield have Poison resist, you will became poison, because it's shields resist not yours...

Do you understand "keep percentages"?
People can't abuse of vitapods with this rule...because they're keep this original percentage...
So...if someone try to trow your vitapod, thinkin will replish health its wrong! Because keep percents...

Givin an example...
Someone got a vitapod+10 with 1 full health bar of 10 bars...so will be 2 full health bars of 20 bars, right?...BUT if he trows the vitapod away, he will keep 1 FULL health bar of 10 bars...understand? There is no REGENERATION of health...
And furthermore...increase total capacity of you healthy without keep this rule its a total useless...
First, because even if you pick this bonus you will need to get some hearts to fill it, like idiot, because in the heart of battle i believe this is useless...
And second...well, what the positive point of a player with low health will have if he pick a vitapod?Nothing...in fact, he will need to get more hearts...

I wouldn't mind seeing

I wouldn't mind seeing vitapods dropped by players keep however many hearts the knight lost when dropping it, but having the vitapods drop pre-charged from monsters and boxes doesn't sit well with me.

(Yes, I've since learned to lock my hud. I only made that mistake once)

Vitapods currently work by increasing your maximum health but not your current health. A player with 10/10 pips equipping a +10 vitapod will have 10/20 pips. That's not a percentage. Say it takes 3 hits to die with 10 pips; a player with no vitapod and 10/10 dies in 3 hits, and a player with a +10 vitapod and 10/20 dies in 3 hits. It's exactly the same.

A player with 10/20 pip throwing away his 10+ vitapod results in him having 10/10 pips. A player with 20/20 pips throwing away his 10+ vitapod has 10/10 too. Though he effectively threw away 10 pips, it's still the same result. You shouldn't be dropping vitapods in general. There's no real way to exploit this system (although vitapods do function slightly differently in terminals and subtowns, we won't discuss that now because it's not relevant).

Acquiring vitapods in battle, or anywhere else, is always useful because it allows you to exceed your previous health maximum (by acquiring hearts, potions, etc). If you need health, use a potion. Vitapods don't exist for healing you. Again, they're for extending your max health cap, and while not immediately useful, they're critical to have.

Now that that's all cleared up... vitapods restoring health would be cool, but ultimately make things too easy; potions already fulfill that role. IMO they do their job just fine the way they are.

Because if you do,I`m think you`ve waste my time...
Keep the percentages it`s my propose, and not what really happens in the game...
I know how vitapod actually works, thanks... but I don`t liked...
And again saiyn...my propose its not to regain health...
And regain health with potion when gets a vitapod? Do you use in a critical sittuation? Or you use directly in combat?
