When I play spiralknights I can not see my knights body. Only knights and monsters heads and weapons show up on my screen. Gremlins look like floating wrench wands and knights look like floating heads with a sword and shield. Please fix

What's your graphics card?

What's your graphics card? You probably need to update your drivers.

If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall Spiral Knights.

Also, as a quick fix you can

Also, as a quick fix you can go to Options -> Advanced Video Options and toggle Compatibility Mode on.

If you have a recent (last 3-4 years) dedicated graphics card updating the drivers should make it so you do not have to rely on that toggle.

I'm having the same problem.

I have invisible people on my screen and don't really like it. I'm not sure on how to go to options on the computer I'm on nor do I know how to update the drivers. I looked at the technical problems sticky and am still confused.

Help?

Compatibility mode is a game

Compatibility mode is a game Option. Just hit Esc, go to the video tab, hit "advanced", and then check the box. You may also need to uncheck "render effects".

Hahahaha!

Excuse me for laughing, but I've had(relatively, not exactly) the same issue in the past. It's a fairly rare occurring issue, but it's nothing a restart of the game won't fix. It seemed to happen to one of my specific friends a lot. She would be a floating head and hands with weapons, on my screen. Even I was invisible once. I didn't mind it at all. The next time I started up the game, everything was back to normal.

About the graphics driver..... You must know what model your computer uses. Then simply do a google search. (or type in the site's address, if you know it.)

Find the latest drivers, then download them.

Open Computer/My Computer >>> Downloads >>> install the driver via the newly downloaded program.
(someone correct me if I'm mistaken.)

Anyways.... I really hope the problem is resolved. Especially if it's a frequently reoccurring issue.

About what Cold-Snap said...

I found out what kind of driver it is but I can't find the download. I was looking on http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx# and the driver is a Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but if someone can find a download for it, I would be grateful.

@ Starlinvf

No. That's what I get for having an old Windows XP. :U

@Kawal

Did you try using the auto scan to help you find it? It should be located within the ad at the top.
