This guild
This guild (link) has a fascination with one of the developer/artists.
Just some googling. According to this (link) boswick handles environments:
The environments were handled by ‘Boswick’, a superb artist that only needs the slightest direction before he’s able to produce amazing work with minimal resources, a great boon to the project. (He also made the Chromolisks… which are also awesome and make me jealous of his animation skills.)
This means the in-jokes revolve around bushes, blocks, etc.
I've seen screenshots floating around of him sitting INSIDE the fountain at haven (link), meaning he probably liked to mess around with his developer no-clip powers as well as a screenshot of a certain player standing inside the terrain, from which I assume he at some point involved players in (beta-)testing. He's one of the the knights walking around with a variation of the Magikat-helmet (link), specifically the one here I think (link) .
He rarely posts on the forums, but he does sometimes (link). Besides that there are screenshot of him having fun (link) ingame.
If you want to know more, google around yourself.
You'd blame him too if you knew Boswick; and the awful things in his bush.
