Recently I've gotten into tier 2, and I reallllly need some crowns for the 4-3 star gears.
Currently I'm not the most persistent farmer but I don't feel like going as low as to start
begging near the auction house. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on money
making in tier 2 (Other than jelly king please :( )
Current setup?
Wolver set
Tempered Calibur
Voltech Alchemer
Owlite Shield
Yikes, I need money! Tips?
1. Try to join at halfway point (join your friends or get invited to be sure)
2. Don't get hit, don't die, use shield
3. Wait for arenas if they are available and the next stage of the rotation (upgrade to 3* everything first though just to be sure)
4. Jelly Palace is good for making money. If you feel your party cannot take on the boss, just announce that you are bailing out before the boss (saving 10 energy in the process).
5. Avoid the following stages notorious for paying low crowns: Candlestick Keep: any, Aurora Isles: Stone Grove, and maybe Deconstruction Zones
6. Finally, and this is important: AMASS MORE ENERGY THAN YOU NEED BEFORE CRAFTING. Seriously, using all energy for crafting and unable to play causes a lot of tier 2 people begging for money or energy (other than reviving using energy of course).
Buy females for 500 CE and roll them over and resell for 1000 CE = WIN
you could sell your materials for a few CE a peice there has to be a few materials you don't need or want and sell other things you dont want
no one will give you money if you beg.
Here some tips:
-Resell Recipes for 1kcr or 1.5kcr more.
-Ragecraft 2* items with mist and sell it .. if you are lucky maybe you got a good UV for you or for sell it.
-Avoid PvP if you dont "always" win...
-Avoid Reviving using CE
-Do a lot of arenas and JK runs.
only that =/.
Get a wolver cap/coat recipe ( I suggest cap, it goes for a TINY bit more), and if you don't play every day, then just get on for like five minutes a day and craft two wolver cap/coats. They use up 50 energy each, and if you have mist, it doesn't spend money. Sell them for a pretty low buyout at the auction house. People constantly buy them (for what, I have no idea...).
Needless to say, if you get a nice uv, you're set.
For the most part, the main one has already been said. Patience. If you play consistently on your 100 mist energy and make profitable runs, you'll easily net 5k or more crowns per day, meaning you can buy a 3* recipe after one day, and a 4* after two. However, keep in mind that Basil won't always have that recipe you want, so you might be playing longer (and amassing more crowns and energy in the process). To maximize your crowns without needing to bend over backwards or taking risks...
-Wait for Arenas and other profitable floors
-Sell mats at good prices on the Auction House
-Try to join players at the clockwork terminal, aka the beginning of stratum 4. The even stratums are usually more profitable crown wise. Having a lot of people on your friends list makes this easier.
-The Royal Jelly Palace is well known for being the best crown generator of T2. (Sorry, but it's true!) No need to take on the Boss, though!
For crafting...
You have 100 mist energy. Using that saves you 100 CE. Plan to craft on a day that you won't be playing, so that energy isn't "wasted." Using 100 mist energy to craft is like saving 5k crowns, and saving two hours of work time that you need for other things.
On days when you can't play, 2* items can be crafted and sold using Mist Energy as well. However, keep in mind that not only the energy is used- materials and crowns are also used. Be sure that you're selling for a good profit before doing that- and also mind that going on a T2 run will be more profitable than crafting an item to sell. (Unless you're lucky and get a nice UV on the crafted item.)
There's no "easy" way of making money quick in this game- aside, of course, buying CE with real money. I'd think that takes a lot of fun and accomplishment out of the game, though.
Hope that helps!
Selling one star items works as well as two star ones, perhaps better, because they're only 10 ME to make. However, given the general opinion about the use (AKA assumed lack) of one star items on these forums, I imagine that'd be fairly frowned upon.
- make more friends or join a big guild, and ask them to invite you when they are at the profitable depths (anything in the even stratums)
- know which recipes are 'hot' and sell them on the AH when you see them at basil, even if you make 200cr profit each time, that's still 200 cr
- waiting for the right gate, arenas if you go all the way through are the most profitable, avoid deconstruction zones, they are rarely worth it.
- sell the materials you don't need, and also trade in your sparks for materials and sell them
- and lastly if you have time, you can play the AH game // or play PVP, even if you lag or what not, you will end up with a profit.
AND - Never revive with energy, unless everyone is dead, and there is something worth being revived for.
