Just a random question. which is more useful? i don't realy care much, i'm just curious.

go for levi/calibur first
lol, get a brandish series next, i crafted a Leviathan ASI high, i can tank jellies to no end :D they never hit me if i time it right :D
my silent is very uselful also.............. need to find stupid recipies tho, lol

also, for begginers.....
calibur line is better bc the recipies are easily reachable at basil price via kozma, in the bazaar, u dont have to reach basil OR buy the outrageous prices in AH lol ;D

There is no answer as to which line is better.
What you need to do is answer the question of what do you want your sword to do and what other weapons are you going to complement it with?
Also, are you a going to Solo or Party?
For example if you are only going to carry one sword and you want to do everything then the Calibur is the obvious choice. If you are going to use 3 to 4 swords (one for each damage type) then the Brandish line is the way to go (you can get an Elemental and a Shadow out of it) paired with a Piercing sword.

there close but....
there both good. the brandish gives you more of a verity with all its elements. However I believe the calibur is a bit stronger. personally I went with the calibur and I have beaten JK 2 twice and snarblox 4 times.
So in my preferences i think the calibur is just a tiny bit better.
You really can't compare the 2 lines considering they have different damages. The Calibur is normal damage all the way, Branish becomes elemental. The Calibur line is better for solo while the brandish is better for party play. One isn't more useful overall against the other.
