I have been playing lockdown for quite some time already, and I have noticed that the Wolver line has dominated both T3 lockdown and even T2 lockdown. I see that the armor provides incredible attack power with good def. I propose to lessen the defensive power of the wolver line so that other armors, even if they cannot scale in damage, can be more balanced versus these overpowered lines.
Wolver line WAY too Overpowered
In PVP it's the damage bonus that makes them overpowered, not the defenses. Would rather see that removed & then the shield types will matter a lot more.
I suggest making damage bonus against beasts apply to players wearing wolver armor :D

As starlinvf has said, changing anything in PVP would equate to changing something PVE. If the devs were to remove the damage bonuses in PVP, it most likely remove such bonuses in PVE. the devs would then need to find a way to make sure such bonuses are not removed in PVE, and I don't think that they're going to recode everything to change this one little thing

An interesting idea for sure, but there is not a whole lot of armors based on the monsters of SK.

Chroma
Quicksilver
They could exclude bonuses from PvP through a simple exception, but the end result is the armor becomes a lower def version of basic armor.... which is equally screwed up. The focus should put into trying to convert the distinctions of the armor into some kind of useful stat, rather then dumb down the one set of abilities that does work in PvP. Otherwise they may as well force everyone to use proto gear for lockdown matches.
It'd probably be better to give it a reduce in elemental resistance or just change the status resistances a bit.
A good example of this is how Magic Cloak has 2 positive resistances but 1negative...meaning that Wolver,Dusker and Ash Tail could have a slight reduce in Ice resistance, but would make up for this with an equal gain in Fire resistance(why does wolver change from ice res to fire anyway when turned into vog).
After that it could have a Reduce to Curse and Shock resistance.

Wolver line doesn't have less defenses actually. People in pvp just go striker so their hp get's depleted. I think that's stupid.
They already have less defense then other basic armors, but reducing its defense to aid PvP also has a huge impact on PvE as well. The same can be said for any armor that includes an ability.
But the problem isn't that they are over powered, its popular because its the only general purpose bonus available, and the armors incidentally defend against the most common weapon types in PvP. Elem Brandishes, Divine Avengers and Flourishes. Fielding Shadow weapons can muck them up, but most people like to carry Piercing swords into PvP due to a strong tendency of players mostly owning Elemental armors.
