Weedle was doing a price check.
I won't personally go over 30K CE because many people make brandishes every day due to the 4 lines (comb/glac/volt/ach) and it's cheap to craft, so we will see more and even better. (I already have 2 brandishes med+ asi and med+ ctr)
Only a sealed sword (and specifically an avenger line) with the same stats would go near 40K CE because it is the rarest (beside fov) and it would be the best.
I have the exact setup that weedle described, all my brandishes (and DVS/Leviat) are medium+ asi and medium+ ctr and I replace one damage trinket for a ctr trinket when needed to achieve max asi and max ctr (while i only get vh dmg instead of max)
If any brandish crafter read this, here are my buy out prices if you wanna sell/contact me: brandish asi med and ctr med (10K CE) high (15K CE) very-high (30K CE)
And regarding exceptional items I suggest you check Laverna or Rubyeclipse items, they will re-define your standard :)
Laverna is currently selling a fov CTR VH and ASI Low at 30K CE (buy out price, click here to see the post), that gives you an idea of what 30K CE can buy...

It probably is an offer in-game. Rubyeclipse and Laverna has some of the best gears in this game, ruby can even sell his spare tetra-hearts and can demand from newbie any prices he wanted for his 1st ED rose set.

i know no one has offerd 40k in this thread. Trust me, a very serious collecter offered me 40k for it, however, even then he knows me and knew i would be equipping such a gem. but yes, 40k was offered.
Beauty indeed. Considering Recent prices just on ctr vh alone, I would gauge maybe 28k+ From serious buyers.
