my usual set up is the pepperbox/master blast bomb setup, my other weapons ia a shadow alchemer and a freezing vaporizer, and i need a Pvp setup because i learn something, the pepperbox for no reason, cant do the vacum effect against players in pvp, so im trying to get my shaw alchmer and freezing vaporizer upgraded,
and so im wondering, should i get the shadow vortex, of electron vortex for pvp? normal clockworks?
The damage on either vortex is not the reason you use the bombs.
Neglecting damage, since it really doesn't matter, the shock on Electron gives it an edge Graviton can't compete with. Shock helps keep enemies together after the Vortex explodes.
The only thematically consistent ways that Graviton could compete in my opinion would be for it to have a chance to curse (might be op) or for it to poison enemies who get sucked in (which I would love).
Vortex is better due to the shock effect and the higher damage against enemies weak to elemental which populate areas vortex is good in (Arenas, graveyards, fsc, ect) although Graviton is sufficent in most cases. Neither are really any good in PVP though.
The only advantage the Electron has over the Graviton is the chance to inflict Shock. Both bomb's damage are negligible so fretting over what type damage it does is a waste of time. It basically boils down to whether or not the chance to inflict Shock is worth accumulating 250 Krogmo Coins for the Electron line's recipes.
Huh, interesting that the Pepperbox doesn't vacuum in PvP.
The vortexes' suction isn't working right in PvP either. The graviton doesn't work at all and the electron can suck in your teammates.
For normal clockworks I think the Electron is more useful since it can shock and does better damage to constructs/zombies... two monster types that are frequently in large groups.
The Graviton is nice for the Royal Jelly Palace due to its extra damage to Slimes. But even in that scenario it isn't much better than the Electron due to the lack of Shock.
