Guide for defeating the Roarmulus Twins!
I put a video in case it's the first time your going to fight it. It's a very easy boss. Just multi-tasking and switches and communication.
I know people would find it strange that I'm not posting this in the general. Idk, it just doesn't seem right. The people there do not seem very bright.

*This is more for new players who have never tried fighting the Twins.* Please, try not to suggest crazy things. I remember someone posted a video of a FOV on the Jelly King using sword and shield dmg boosting armor.. In another forums in which I posted another video for new players.. TACTICS LIKE THAT WILL NOT HELP A NEW PLAYER.

This video gives insight into attack patterns and how to attack the Twins.
It's easy, but hard if you make it that way.

VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb2ki3d6aRM
(Cliff-Notes are included with the video)

Enjoy, also. Commenting your in-game name gives you the chance to win 100CE. =D

I wish I could get these videos within the WIKI... I think they're a lot more useful than videos of someone just killing the boss.. Or, dying 100 times then killing the boss.

Some feedback

Nice work, it will certainly be useful to new players. As for the JK one, here is my feedback :
- in the notes, you recommend Faust. This is not very realistic, as it's a JK reward. I would advise elemental brandish, which have the highest single target dps.
- I would highly recommend an Elemental Defense shield, others break too fast to rockets. Owlite series is perfect. Elemental defense armor would also be a plus, but it's not worth it to make one just for the boss.
- I saw several times your mate activate the switch while a twin was shooting his laser. You should never do that in a party, as there is good chances that it will hurt your mates, because they will not anticipate the switch.
- you should destroy every block when it switch to phase 2 : otherwise, that's lost rockets which could have make the fight shorter.
- to activate the switch, a gun with fast bullets (for example blaster, a popular beginner gun) is better than a slow sword : you'll be able to activate the switches from the middle, thus not being hit/wasting some rockets because you were too far to activate the switch. It also gives you more freedom to avoid scuttlebots.

Btw, i don't spit on some CE, in case i would be the winner, my in-game name is the same as forum name.

+1 to pretty much everything

+1 to pretty much everything Fradow said (not really worried about the blocks tip, but the rest is spot on).

Faust DPS is poor plus the Twins appear to be weak to elemental (my Boltbrand is a wrecking ball for this fight). Calibur is good too though because you can get off all three hits on the charge.

Owlite line shields makes a world of difference too (I saw that you used them, but you might point them out). I did it the other night with my Sinister Skelly Shield (by accident) and it was doable, but so much more chill with my Wise Owlite Shield.

I also would strongly recommend each group pick one and only one person to be the switch-man. This keeps idiots from hitting the switch during lasers and getting people fired (a pet pev of mine).

Can anybody confirm that Curse is helpful for the Twins? They don't heal and you were hitting for the same 153 & 199 with or without curse. I don't think they damage themselves when they fire under curse or they would destruct crazy fast. The curse only lasts for the vulnerable (flashy yellow arrow) period right, where the Twins can't attack. I strongly suspect that cursing the Twins is a total waste of time, but I am not 100% sure of that.

Your video production is very nice though.

Sorry, it was I who put up

Sorry, it was I who put up the links for those vids of FoVs. But, I am not the one who posted that video in Youtube. I still need 25 Almrian Seals to get FoV. I put up those videos because some one earlier in that thread mentioned FoV and I though I will just put the link up. Of course, FoV is not going to help new players since they still have a long way to go before getting that.

thnx

i mean i have done the twins a BUNCH of times. and well, i tell noobs what to do to make it faster, like if the left twin is faster than the right, get the left hit the right. or when the robot dudes respawn at the level before te twins, i was told to stay on the spawn points so they dont, well SPAWN. but they didnt listen so it was hard, long and i wasted like 10k ce.

btw thnx
