Really lame. Now I know why I AM dying so much.
This definitely has not been fixed. People taking (or at lest showing) no dmg from my 2nd hits.
Well at least it can be useful for breaking guardian shields.
I think we'd all feel like paper in Lockdown if that short invulnerability was removed hehe. Autoguns & Cutters are especially weak due to it though. If that's the only weapon you have, c'mon down to tier 2! Lots of fun. T1 can be too but lots of delays waiting for games.
That line in the notes could've meant something else - like hopefully a fix to those bomb + guardian issues.
You can also change your tactics. Try not doing a combo unless you're sure to strike with the final blow. Some of the best players I know use their second strikes to move away from opponents & dodge counter attacks... then lunge back in with the third.
The invulnerability was removed with the latest patch. Is the 2nd hit of the levi working now?
Invincibility was removed but it really seems unsignificant. I haven't noticed any change. They should also enable multi-hit on guardians shields. Right now there could be 4 people attacking a shield guardian, it would be just as only one person was attacking him. They still can glitch bombs such as shivermist or voltaic tempest by just shielding over them (making them unvulnerable to sword hits until the bomb's damaging area wears off), and I don't think it was all intended to give guardians such an ability.
No no, I remember Nick recommending someone to use the guardian shield to avoid being affected by status bombs. Otherwise bombs would be extremely annoying.

Disagree, I do nothing but Guardian shield and you can definitely notice how fast the Guardian shield is depleted when multiple people attack you. Instead of my shield withstanding a few seconds it is down in a second when multiple people hit me.
Paid attention to the health bars popping out of people to test it (barely - someone else want to?) and it does seem like it was removed/lowered. My wrench wand's charge attack is landing both hits, and flourish lunges are nastier than usual. And what ^ said, they fell fast to a group beatdown.
This explains how I had a few 20kill streaks yesterday hehe. I don't think it's a good change though... unexperienced players'll just die even more easily, and maybe even stop playing Lockdown.

Except that if among the four players hitting the guardian, there is let's say a weaker one than others (cough*t2*cough*), and that he's the one hitting him, it just becomes impossible to deal with the guardian, and believe it or not, its often the case. Can't really ask players using weaker weapons to stop using them against guardians at each game, that'd be silly. That's one issue. The other is a guardian shielding from some bomb effects can fit you a couple hit while you're trying (hopelessly) to hit him at the same time, and that sir, isn't normal. They already can shield from attacks, have something like a 20 HP bonus, and therefore a serious tank ability, that's too much priviledges for one same class.
But in the case there is 4 people with Divine Avengers should we nerf Guardian shields to lets say break after one swing? They already break after two hits from a DA. I think all classes are pretty well balanced. Guardian is incredibly slow, but I use it all the time because it heals. Are you saying Guardian shields when stuck in a haze bomb cloud cannot break? That used to be the case, but it sure wasn't today when I broke a guys shield who was trying to get out then took him down.
If your really going to play Tier 3 with 2 star equipment, that is your own fault for not being able to break a guardian shield.
I'm full 5* since over 5 monthes, talking about T2 engaged in T3 games.lol
As far as I can see, my 2nd hit is doing damage sometimes, but other times it clearly looks like it is not. Please address this issue or if I'm crazy, tell me so Nick.
i think the fix is only for guardians shielding through a status bombs and not successive hits from a weapon.
There's a short period of invulnerability for knights right after they receive damage. This was supposed to have been patched with the accessory patch, but it's still there apparently. Pretty much kills some of the multi-hit weapons and makes it pointless to gang up on a single person.
