I'd like to start crafting items looking for UV's for resale. What are the best recipes that I should be looking for, and the UV's I'm wanting to get on those items? I'm really clueless about this, and would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Look around for popular or

Look around for popular or rare items. Those are most likely to have a higher demand than supply and therefore get you the best price. As for UV's it really depends on the item. For example heavy swords - ASI, bombs - CTR, end game armor - fire resist. But then there are some specific ones like Max Normal defense on a Magic Hood because then it'll make a great Divine Veil upgrade later (because divine veil lacks normal but is otherwise awesome).

If your plan is just to make money then I wouldn't worry as much about UVs and just craft popular 3* items (best return for your mist). But if you really want UVs go with 2* items but be prepared to make money slowly.

Suggestions (IMO)

Resellable at the AH for a decent amount, but popular enough to sell high if it has a UV:
Magic Set
Gunslinger Set (3*)
Chroma Set (3*)
Owlite Shield
Plate Shield
Skelly Shield
Swiftstrike (3*)
Alchemers
Blaster
Cutter

Sell for low if they don't have UV:
Wolver Set
Calibur
Brandish
Any popular bombs
