Um...Why does my Cobalt Helm have a Ponytail?

I've had my Cobalt Helm ever since I've started playing SK & I've been using it as a Costume Item since then. Today, I logged in & noticed something coming from the back of my Helmet: It was a Ponytail.
...
Wut?
I thought only the 3*-5* ones were the ones that have it, not the 2* one. Is this a Glitch or an added Feature?

I KNOW what it is.
I'm just a bit confused on why it's on the 2* Version. The 2* one doesn't have a Plume.

Are you sure
That your seeing a plume?
It is for only 4* and 5* cobalt
I have 3* and I don't even have a plume.

It's called a Plume, many helmets have it.
