I have heard about the Brute Jelly Armor Set, and there are three ways to obtain it.

1. Simply buy it from vendors with crowns.
2. Craft the Jelly Set first, then the Brute Jelly Set.
3. Beat the Royal Jelly many times, until you have enough tokens to buy that set from Brinks.

So, which one of these ways do you prefer? I like to beat bosses many times for easy equipment, but crafting will produce UVs.

Craft the Jelly set and let

Craft the Jelly set and let it that way, because except 5* it's the only pink one, which makes you look like a jelly. Then use it as a costum, and spin everywhere, yelling "IMMA JELLY!!!"

Well, if you are serious about making it for actual use and not only costum, i would advise you to look at some other sets. There is really no reason to choose this one over others.

If you still want to do it, you should read this post : http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/27526

Basically, the cheaper is to buy the 3* version from AH (if there are some for decent prices).

I wouldn't advise to get it with tokens : it simply takes too much time for what it is. And don't bet on UV if you are not mass crafting it, the odds are against you.

What Fradow said

It is worth more as a costume, unfortunately, although to note, the shield has some different aspects. If you look at hard numbers, the Jelly set has the most piercing resistance, the standard issue (cobalt & defender) has the highest normal, and the wolver and thorn shield line has the lowest overall defense with increased attack for swords.

This means you will be basing your choice off of a few different factors:

1. Do you use a gun or bomb more than sword?
2. What stratum are you running?
3. Overall skill at playing

These should be factored in for your choice of armor.
