Does anyone were noticed that all existing and under construction gates are all about fiends, undeads and poison?
I heard rumors about some guilds trolling the recent gates for fiends for fun...
Can an admin or a GM take control of gate construction or reset the gates?
I dont have a problem with fiends or poison, but its really annoying having the same gates type.
The only good thing is that the boss stratum cant be changed or it could be always vanaduke...
At least we try...
Me and my 3 mates are trying to change the fiends and poison in tier3... but its complicated the same...
Acording to wiki, the GM can use Alloys.
"Alloys are currently unavailable to players. For now, alloys are used by game developers[1] to change a finished stratum's theme to increase variety. An alloy count of 1 in a stratum means it has been changed from its original theme by a game developer, instead of using the mineral ratios to determine its theme. "
They could try to use it and change it...
Again i repeat my self, dont have a problem with it, but it just annoying, takes out the fun in the game and it affects all players.
Alloys would be a nice way of fixing this, I must say.
Although if anyone sees a mass of Slime stratum (plural form of stratum is stratum, who knew?) coming up, no-one touch them!
If it was only 2 or 3 gates alike, but in this case its a lot of gates alike...
Slimes, gremlins or construct... it doesn't matter... trolling the gates like this is simply bad either for players and 000...
People get bored and quit the game...
I don't see any problem with the gate construction. If you look at all the active gates, they are composed of a reasonable mix of themes. Also, the sheer number of players that autosell more or less keep the gates randomized. Finally, if you have trouble with a particular type, take it as an opportunity to practice, or just do runs that avoid those strata. Or build equipment designed to counter those strata. Asking GMs to modify the gate via alloys is no better (I'd say worse) than the guilds trying to make a particular strata. Basically, you're complaining that you don't like the gate that the guilds have spent time and effort building (collecting minerals, coordinating), and rather than dealing with it or banding together to build your own gate or counter, you are asking for their work to be negated.
I didn't notice myself. Personally, I don't care for a certain undead dungeon set (Candlestick), but other than that, I say "whatever, I'll go buy anti-Fiend weapons". So long as they don't keep doing this for every gate for the foreseeable future (as in it goes on for more than a week), let them have their fun.
Im all up for poison i use Virulsik ^_^ and undead aren't too tough, hate Fiends though...

This has occurred in the past for some time. The first two FSC gates that I was ever able to run, there was a fiend before FSC one week and undead the next week, both Dark City. I don't see this ending any time soon. I don't want it to honestly. Dark City is good for training and a nice weed out.
I wish I payed attention to what things are being created in gates, I just click on the mineral box and hit auto sell without ever looking. Whatever gate comes is fine to me, even though I would prefer as many gates with things that are weak to elemental/pierce.
Idk if i'm being the dumb noob here but isnt the purple ones the most common mineral and it causes gates to slide over to the fiends? So you dont have much of a choice as the people who dont care about mineral prices just auto sell them. Even if people actually cared there's just too much. So unless the mods balance the mineral payouts, you, or even sizable groups dont have a choice on this. There's just too much players and they're very inclined to just get rid of their minerals with very little effort. Imo, I dont think groups could really put an influence on the gate constructions unless you have at least something like 20~30% of the mineral contribution. Even if you do have that you'll have to fight against the players that jump on the increased prices for other minerals.
As long as there's a T3 Jelly Farm I don't care what any of the other gates are, I could grind that for days.
Purple's not the most common, but the most popular, it would seem. It's the "dark" one, and yellow's the "Light" one, which is the reason I prefer yellow over all, and all over purple.
Either that, or the purple spam has been going on a lot longer than I thought, except that I've seen classes of all kinds anyway.
Nah, yellow is somewhat rarer and purple is just very common. It's not just player preference that causes most(if not all) purple prices in most(if not all) gates to go down to +2. So yeah, purple 'spawns' more than yellow. imo its purple, blue, red, green,yellow from most common to least.
Basically, I can solo anything T2 anyway, and T3 with a team that knows what they're doing isn't much more difficutl either, whatever the theme.
By the way, the plurar for stratum is strata. And it is referenced in the game. So, please stop getting this wrong.

if the game is getting stuck on fiends, poison and shock, alloys are the answer, and there isn't a "reasonable mix" on the new gates and the ones under construction for about some time...
Its possible to influence a gate construction... just wait for the new gate to appear and drop the combo for what do you want... that will influence the gate right from the start...
The most recent gate was tons of dark crystal and a small amount of the others and by the price of 1 and even 0 i dont think people want to sell it there...
Imo its yellow, green, red, blue and purple.
They arent rumors, what they want is shock, freeze [unconfirmed] or fiends. My guild has been screwing up thier plans so that you at least dont meet fiends for vana. Since they out number us, thats the best we can do. Though the shock for the previous vana gate was our fault... well mine alone... -_-. accidentally anti their fiends to shock
