Totems in Graveyards

Random question: Have there always been zombie resurrection totem sections in graveyard levels? I ran into one yesterday doing a T3 graveyard and I wasn't sure if it was a new thing, or if it was a T3-only feature (as I haven't done many T3 graveyards), or if, by random luck, I'd just completely missed ever seeing a section with one before.
They show up every now and then in T3. Not always, just when the gods of whimsy decide to mess with us. In general they don't show up in the harder "rooms" of a graveyard though.
