A specific accesory may be hard to get, but even harder is to find it with the right color.
Some spray can or paint wich can be bought or randomly obtained could be nice. Imagine it also working on equipment too!
Of course only some basic colors should be available to keep the rarity of some special accesories.

I don't really know how to explain why, I'd just really like to be able to customize accessories and possibly equipment.
I think this would work, especially if they also sold paint cans from either Boost/The Accessory Guy for about 200-300 CE? Keeping the three specifically mentioned rare colors/themes out is a nice way to keep things special too. :)
