It's not bad. Owlite is good,
It's not bad. Owlite is good, but the Cobalt line really just isn't worth it. The Wolver line provides the same defenses, plus attack speed and damage bonuses to swords.
As for weapons, pretty good. That's a great UV on the Faust, and the one on the Avenger is decent. You should probably roll for a new one at Punch. Generally, on an Avenger you want Charge Time Reduction (CTR) and Undead Bonus. Construct Bonus and Attack Speed Increased (ASI) are good too.

You're both right. This SHOULD be in Arsenal. And I chose the Cobalt line back when I was still a noob and didn't know any better. I knew I'd need something called "elemental defense", and that's why I went with Owlite. Thus the only reason I've made it this far. As for the UV, i'll craft a divine avenger. If I don't get a new or better one, I'll use Punch.

cobalt is a standard armor
cobalt is a standard armor (same deal as the calibur line wich i love haha)
lot of people are going to hate me for saying this but, if your a swordsman use wolver line (at the end use skolver for extra damage but looking at your swords take vog cub wich gives you high ASI or use trinkets to boost it if you want)
i have skolver armor and barb thorn shield wich gives me a maximum sword damage increase (faust wil become deadly handy against royal jelly)
also your shields elemental defence ONLY aplies on your shield WHILE shielding (so again if you want damage bonus use snarby shield and upgrades)
vog cub has elemental resistance (and high fire imunity)

As has Kickthebucket, I'll also recommend Wolver. I currently have Ash tail [4*] and Will upgrade it to Vog for some ASI [Faust, Avenger, and Levi after all] and fire res' for FSC.
Stick with Owlite, and Get those swords to 5* when you can [and nice uvs by the way (: ]
Also, think about trinkets and weapon slots.
Trinkets are up to you, there's a fairly wide choice.
as for weapon slots, Levi and a piercing would be nice.
either Flourish/Snarble barb if you're going pure melee.
or Blitz Needle / Callahan are good choices for guns.
I should probably also mention:
Avenger UV - Bonus Damage vs. Fiend : Low
Faust UV - Bonus Damage vs. Slime: High
