So this is only part 1 because I didn't get a chance to finish FSC and I haven't tried Twins yet. I will post again once I have.
Over all I really like the changes. It does make it quite a bit harder. And by quite a bit, I mean ridiculously harder. I can solo Vana normally and I died several, several times doing this run. I got about halfway in the final level before Vana before the server closed. I also really like the design changes, love the purple shadow everywhere. Here are some more specific notes though:
- New shadow slags are a good addition, with the sheilds on the back and the curse (much better then fire, adds a new mechanic to mix things up).
- Like the fire traps, placed well (expect for the part on the Bridge where you have to grab the six statues, it doesn't make it harder, it just means you have to wait longer - kinda useless).
- I was in a party of two and the enemies felt like they had the health from a party of four. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but it appears to be almost impossible to solo the new FSC (unless that is the intent).
- Slag guards are not a challenge in their current form, they are just annoying and when you are soloing them, it takes forever to wait for them to charge, then run behind them and get maybe one (two if your lucky) hits in before it turns around and because they are literally spawning at every single battle in multiples, they just become tedious and repetitive and a giant time consumer. I would recommend tone the number of them way, way down, bring back trojans to mix in, and give them different attacks so that a proper strategy can be made against them.
- I think the new undead turrets are a great addition, but I miss the old fire puppies (yes they still are there but try and make it even, not a 10:1 ratio).
- On the 3rd level, the final bridge battle drags on way to long (at least it feels like it). I didn't feel it to be a challenge and got kind of boring after a while because you are locked into that one area to battle (the old version you could at least run across the bridge to attack them or stay back, this version removes that option, making it boring).
- On the 4th level, the second battle (before the huge stairs) is much, much, much to hard. Because the battle arena is smaller the totems pretty much stretch the whole width of the battle (even when moving them to the corners) leaving only a small patch that we can kill things in left. I like the idea of harder, but I don't like the idea of impossible. Haha.
Again though, love the changes overall, and will post back again when I play tomorrow.

Hey Rankor. I agree with you the Slag guards are easier to deal with then Trojans. The New Shadow Zombies I really like the new Look I wish they were alittle faster. The New Fire Traps, Spike Traps and shadow Chain traps locations are a nice change up but it does not make they level awhole lot harder however they do take up much space so now players have alot less space to dodge and maneuver around the level. Overall I think OOO Dev. is going in the right direction.
