Prize Wheel is the new troll.

Second for Prize Wheel. If you or others in your party win crowns, each member will actually receive the sum of those coins.

Quite the Opposite

Increasing crown gain would only serve to increase inflation. Making everything worst, since speculators will push the prices up long before people actually feel the increased income.

Let's look at Power Surge weekend instead.

Before power surge weekend, 5500 crowns where to 100 energy.
During power surge weekend, 100 energy hit almost 6300 crowns. That's fine then, because people were earning more money per energy.
Now, weeks after, we still haven't fully recovered and its about 5750 crowns for 100 energy. People don't have increased income anymore.

The biggest thing to help stabilize the economy right now is a promise from three rings, that they will avoid power surge weekends for a long time. Since although they are good and dandy in the short term, they have long lasting effects on the market.

Toward the end of the rose regalia CE bundle, the exchange rate was around 5400cr/100CE. Over the next several days, the exchange rate went up to 5600cr. When the power surge weekend was announced, it shot up to 6kcr+, but it dropped back down to 5.7k by saturday morning and I never saw it hit 6.3k during that weekend. When the power surge weekend was over, the exchange rate was back down to 5750cr. See: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/26046

Now, weeks after, we still haven't fully recovered and its about 5750 crowns for 100 energy. People don't have increased income anymore.

The entire increase in the exchange rate can be explained by the end of the rose regalia. The Power Surge weekend had almost zero impact, except for the short-term spike caused by speculators at the start. The accessories release has actually made the exchange rate drop some. Apparently, there are a lot of people with a lot of RL money that are buying CE to buy keys and selling some of that CE to buy lockboxes, while F2P are mostly ignoring the accessories.

I see no "inflation" and the OP gives no backing to the claim that there is any.

Many accessories are now dirt

Many accessories are now dirt cheap. I see some at buyouts of 15k ...
I was even able to buy one at a mislisted price of 2.6 k cr. The ugly ones are very easy to get. The good ones are a different story, though...

"Generate more money" is

"Generate more money" is absolutely not a valid way to fix an economy. It's got a history of completely destroying the economies they tried it on.

If CE costs too many crowns, it means that CE is more valuable than crowns.

If crowns are made more common, they become inherently less valuable.

This means the value of CE compared to crowns becomes proportionally even BIGGER than it was before, which means CE prices will actually become more EXPENSIVE, not cheaper. "Hyperinflation" is what happens when a government fails to notice that "print more money" only screws up their economy more, and proceeds to "print even more money" in an attempt to fix it (which will continually backfire for reasons stated above).

There are two ways to reduce the crown price of CE:
1) Make CE less rare and valuable, by either introducing more of it or reducing the methods by which it is consumed (such as by provoking many players to buy it with real money, or reducing prices on Boost's wares-- though honestly I would only expect them to do the first one)
2) Make crowns more rare and valuable, by either reducing the amount generated or adding more things to spend it on (If you see the term "crown sink" being thrown around, it's people talking about that second one.)
