Why not have it so that players who have yet to be approved for Tier 2 access or not fully equipped with 2* gear, pay a flat rate of 2,000 crowns for 100 CE, once you are cleared for Tier 2 or are fully equipped with 2* gear you enter the player controlled market?

Once you've entered the player controlled market you can of course, not go back to the non-player controlled market.

The purpose is to make the game friendly for new players, once you've played enough of the game you either have to live with the tougher system or pay real money to get ahead.

Well...

One could easily farm tier 1 forever then send the money. Or, just mail the energy.

I think a fad's starting. Gonna need a mod to organize all these energy threads somehow...

well then

Perhaps they should fix the damn economy before we get a crash.

As prices keep climbing I keep thinking about quitting.

I'm not spending a cent on this game it's free to play or at least it was advertised as such.

The game is quickly turning into pay to win.

The game is also quickly turning into NOT newbie friendly. Tier 1 only nets you 2000-3000CR max and that's on a good gate, and most don't know what they are.

The current system is broken and NEEDS to be fixed.

I'd just like to remind new

I'd just like to remind new players that during the preview event, CE prices were about 12000 to 13000 crowns.

Now that there are more players there might be more CE on the market, but it will be hard to say what the average price will be, so we just need to be patient as we wait for things to even out.

ME was always meant to provide players with a trade off: spend your day's worth of ME farming for crowns and materials, or use it to craft items.

If you're a newbie, a casual player, you really might not need to do more than 10 floors a day. If you want to play more than 10 floors, you have to buy CE with money or crowns; that is simply what the business model is--there is no in-game advertising, the game is supported only by CE purchase (so far as I know).

There are a number of players who are doing regular T3 runs that have NOT PAID A SINGLE CENT for CE; they have simply managed their time and ME well, and are successful with only 100 ME.

I started on April first when CE was 1,300, it was easy and quick to reach tier 2 because energy was so damn cheap. Now however with energy being so expensive players have to do about 4 times the amount of work I had to do when starting out, just to get 100 CE, the likely hood of a player reaching the point where they can afford 3,000 crowns on a regular basis now takes significantly longer to reach then it used to.

Uhh...

They already have this system in place. It's under the "PURCHASE" tab when you open the CE window.

You shouldn't think that being able to buy CE with Crowns is a right. It's more like a "be glad we're even letting you have extra play time for free, you leeching ingrates" type of privilege.

That's a little harsh, Awesomest

Players who don't pay cash for CE still make money for Three Rings by creating more value for CE on the exchange, making cash purchases more attractive for other players.

The more free players there are, the higher the crown price of CE goes.
