Sometimes the game trolls me. It trolls everyone, really.
Like when you make it out of the last arena with some capsules to spare, and half the party boxes have... more capsules.
Then you head down to basil and the prize wheel gives you a heart.
Or you head down to the Royal Jelly and the monsters are dropping piles of status capsules.
But just remember, it could always be worse: You could have a giant love puppy spawn in place of one of the Roarmulus Twins.
For me, finding 3 Health Capsules in a TV after the game had been greedy and not dropped any, only to have a lag spike and find that a Kleptolisk stole them. And to add insult to injury, it didn't even drop a single Capsule after I beat it up.
Good times.

The game wasn't bugged when King Krogmo didn't honor bribing properly. He was just trolling.
Or when Roarmulus Twins refuse to function because of the new accessories update -- they were just trolling as well.
It's a good thing OOO counseled them with TOS and give them a slap on the wrist, because banning them wouldn't be a good idea.
The Prize Wheel is a machine with no thoughts though, so it could troll all day long.

Lag spikes. Need I say more?
Going solo . . . been at it for about 4 hours . . . cruising through . . . got 3 health capsules, and 3 more form tier 2 just in case . . . level 28, fiends (uh oh, hate fiends, but I'm in good shape) . . . Going's a bit tough, as expected . . . good thing I had all those health capsules . . down to my last one, but I'm almost there . . . where's that gate button?!? . . . down to 2 bars of health and just 2 devilites left . . . almost home, Baby, Yes, Yes . . . No, No, Nooooooooooooooo . . . (whimper) [I know the game didn't troll me and I just had an epic fail, but it felt like i got trolled by devilites at level 28.]

I've never seen that happen, and I've been playing every day in the past several months. The server always reboot at 8pm GMT+8. You should have planned ahead (e.g. start at least 2 hours per tier before reboot and don't wait for arena so many times or start after reboot).
Game usually trolls me by not giving out capsules and very few hearts and pills. A few times I reached terminal without a capsule (solo'ing).
Okay if that EVER happens it would make my day rocket health vials health explosions lol might as well stick to that one side and wait for the other twin to be discusted by his loving brother to keep fighting. xDD that be super troll..
In WoW, Blizz will just tell you that they are restarting in X minutes. Anytime they want.
In SK, OOO will send you an email to avoid X fieature, then hotfix it in the next maintenance period.
Personally, I'd prefer the latter...

3. Usually never getting a lockbox? (I've got one so far, and I've been playing a ton.)

Yeah, best time with the prize wheel, I have gotten a trojan horseshoe from it before, despite costing less than a lockbox, that was more epic than a lockbox IMO. :D

Um...what? How is that trolling? Status vials make the RJ battle way easier. Or did you mean AFTER the boss?
@Batabii not status vials, status capsules. The ones you take to cure yourself of fire/shock/poison/freeze etc. You know, all the statuses that no monsters whatsoever in the RJP actually cause.
Well, I guess lumbers can technically stun, but that's not exactly a huge issue.

Yeah, that. We went in once with 2 poison vials in a 4 person party, because that's only what was dropped in the 3 floors below. I mean, WTF?! o_O
And of course, the prize wheel giving you hearts before a terminal or Emberlight.
When the game was bugged after the recent patch and before the hotfix... it was like the Twilight Zone...
1. Gate maps not showing what's below...
2. 13th floor mysteriously replaced by... Candlestick Keep. "Hey, wasn't this supposed to be a Basil floor..."
3. Endless loading times...
4. Taking away 10 of your energy...

It seems that the game drowns a lot of us in hearts instead of heat and crowns when we're at full health, and capsules when we have three. I can't believe people call this a kids' game, I've seen it get pretty gruesome with all those hearts strewn about the ground from slain monsters. The last time I got to the elevator with less than 3 pips of health, it gave me a heart. I started the next level with 3.
It kinda works out okay in the end, though, as I get a lot more crowns from frustrating runs than ones that go especially smoothly. Realistically, that probably has more to do with varying levels of difficulty among the options at the same stratum and gate, but I want to hold onto the comforting notion that this "No crowns or heat for you, you're doing too well!" mechanic is not all bad.
I joked with my brother that maybe the developers wanted to make the game less frustrating but got something in the code backwards. I didn't take the notion seriously, at least at the time. When Lockdown went live and I started reading about the Vortex pulling effects, though... was there really a hotfix that changed it to one vortex type pulling every one and the other pulling no one? That _was_ just a joke, right?

On the plus side, I did pick up a silverweave earlier on that level. Can't complain too much about that I suppose.

I got a 3 big hearts right after defeating vanaduke, reviving once before that. >.<
I got a lockbox RIGHT after the prices dropped from 30K to 7K. >.<
I am always trolled by massive lag at JK, which I almost never lag anywhere else. >.<

I'm pretty sure that the intentional connection lag is enough of a troll.
But beyond that I've gone through an entire Roarmulus Twins fight where the scuttlebots dropped nothing but vitapods that were lower than mine, no joke, the floor had at least 14 vitapods, all of them 10 or 8 when I was equipping a 12.
When the game trolls you, troll it back.

Arena. Gremlin bombers. So much lag. Die on a spike trap. Lag makes you think the spikes are down and you revive yourself. Die again. Rinse, repeat.

I got trolled once with lag...=_= In Roarmulus Twins's Stage, I was doing just find and dandy, until I got to the second part of the stage. Where I was plague with enemies freezing and my knight still being able to move. I get kicked out. I'm able to log back on, to find that my guy is dead. So figure, "Eh, let' revive and continue. Then happened again. And again....I decided just to quit and call it a night...
As for more light hearted ones...Not having enough room for Health Capsules and remedy capsules, when I have a bunch of epic vials. :( WHY MUST I CHOOSE?! QQ
